He's a shounen Zero (from Vampire Knight). I HATED Zero. I'm sorry to all those Zero fans out there (who are probably Sasuke fans too), but they're waaay too emo and don't give a rat's behind about anyone else other than themselves. I mean, there are some villains that can pull that crap off, like the really badass ones, but Sasuke's neither. He's in between, which is not a good place to be.

Sasuke is not my favorite but i dont hate him at the same time. the only thing anoying me is that people keep saying hes gay; it only annoys me cause i feel like im the only person that noticed that he isnt; in one of the chapters it does hint to Sasuke having a relationship with the medical/traker ninja that was following him. cant remember what chapter it was in (to lazy to find it), but the other two people that were following him were talking about it. very few people notice this.

That's coz you are taking the word "GAY" too literally. The word is also used to denote someone who is an emo-sorta guy, that is being mopey, or having an attitude that the whole world is against him.

One thing you all missed is how he killed all the cool villains in the series. he made them miserable and simply killed them. one other thing is how he kills everyone who is sick and unprepared and thinks that he's so awesome... It's so adorable trying to kill a sick man coughing in bed or a loving brother who's willing to die for you.
Just look,
1. He killed Itachi the coolest brother in the world! and never regretted it. Itachi died after defeating sasuke and killing orochimaru and giving him some power. Itachi was dying even before sasuke came.
2. Orochimaru, ok he was disgusting but cool. I mean those snakes coming out of his hands, sanjuu rashomon and stuff. he had the potential! He first died like a worm and was cut in two. then was killed by "The Eye" and after his shining return, killed by the brother's sword. He even made kabuto a worthless wanderer.
3. Deidara with his quote: "Art is a Blast!" and "Katsu!" he was at the top of naruto's characters for some time and his C4 Garura was awesome! He died with his cool jutsu squashed in a sec and died miserably trying to save his art from the disgusting eye.
4. Manda the only summoned beast who actually stood up to his master and even Orochi feared him. died Hypnotized and protecting "The Tiny Creature".
5. Danzo had the amazing "Izanagi" jutsu and was fast despite being old. He was cornered to be killed and after blinding all the eyes he had, he was killed by a simple genjutsu and a stab in his heart.
He makes them so miserable that they kill themselves trying not to be killed by him and make you actually cheer for them instead of sasuke. none of the enemies he killed were truly killed/Died like a shinobi.
He has been defeated by a lot of people (Rock Lee, Gaara, Itachi, Killer Bee) and still thinks that he's unmatched.
Last words: after releasing the complete cured seal he looks like crap and as for me he's like one of the Resident Evil bosses! (changing shape after being defeated once!)

He constantly remorses on his past, and how he can't have any friends because of (insert tragic event here.) He wallows in self-pity and has taken it upon himself as his one mission to take revenge on his brother. He refuses to be beaten by a 'lesser' person like Naruto, and doesn't know the meaning of hard work.
Instead of hard work he must always find the faster option to 'leveling up' ie. Curse Seal/ Orochimaru.
In three years he became the god of uberness who killed a Seinen and proceeded to kill one of the Akatsuki without any real issue. He's simply Godly, and gay, and oh did I say gay? And selfish. His overpoweredness is completely different from Naruto in that Naruto spent three years with Jiraiya and didn't appear to learn -anything-.
yeah but naruto spent less than a year with everybody else and ended up getting uberpowerful with barely any training and manages to learn super moves in a day so-wtf?
The difference though with Naruto's increase in power during the progression of part two and Sasuke is that with Naruto we usually see him train to gain jutsu and abilities, or at least in a few cases an explanation in one form or another. Sasuke on the other hand often gets abilities handed to him with no effort as far as the reader can tell in accomplishing them. Its likely meant to speed up Sasuke's part in the plot so the main character or the main parts of the story can continue, but paired with his attitude to many it makes his character even more unlikable.
if the author told us how everyone got so skilled this manga would be twice as long. plus it adds to the mystery of the rival. he doesn't tell us how most of naruto's friends got more skilled. didn't say how gara got skilled. you just make up excuses about why you dislike sasuke because your jealous.

I like Sasuke, even though people gave allot of reason's for hating Sasuke I still don't understand why they do? but then again that's there opinion, and what other people say isn't going to make them change they're mind.

The problem with Sasuke is that he's boring. Not only that, but he actively prevents himself from becoming more interesting. He has a single layer to his thinking and seems unable to be able to support more than just the one; every time the possibility arises, he kills someone or otherwise completely quashes the idea.
It was 'love Itachi' and 'be as good as Itachi so Father will love me', then 'kill Itachi', and now it's 'get revenge for Itachi'.
Everything else is either 'will help me reach my goal', 'completely irrelevant', or 'distraction'... the last, of course, primarily being Naruto.
Even Sakura is more interesting.
There is, however, one unusual thing about his character, namely, the fact that it exists at all. Usually, an author/creator would be trying to add depth rather than trying to erase it so completely and get rid of any and all traces of the possibility of the character having more than a single dimension.
I just really hope that Kishi isn't setting us up for a sudden heel-face-turn in a final battle, because I rather enjoy the fact that Naruto's (former?) best friend/(almost) surrogate brother is such a pigheaded, emotionally stunted bastard.
