I just noticed that caucasian has 'asian' in it o__o i wonder what 'cauc' means. Maybe it doesn't mean anything bigrazz

Comes from the Caucus Mountains that separate the continent of asia from europe.

The reasons are more political than geographical (see that dude, Peter the Great. But a teacher told me that the reasons where even older, it has to deal with the German, and how they wanted to be in the middle of the continent, so they could claim supremacy over the whole thing, which they most certainly did, blah blah blah...).

(edit: btw, it's Caucasus)

I'm French, caucasian.
One of my grand grandmothers is Polish. One of my grand grandfathers is Spanish. Another one is Italian. And apparently a long time ago some of my family was German.
