Why do some people use the term Caucasian instead of white or European? It's not very accurate, as people who aren't white can be considered Caucasian.

My friend and I were wondering about the U.S. teacher we had his nationality, so my friend went on and asked him what his race is. He answered "I'm human race." I realised that was not a proper word to use at that moment.
Anyhow, my nationality is Vietnamese. ^^

I'm Caucasian, Dutch in origin.
But somewhere very far back on dad's side, there must be some French, considering the sound of our last name.

I'm a mix of Mexican, Italian, and Nicaraguan so other I guess.

Middle-Eastern, it's the minority here, excluding the Japanese. What would they look for in this place, anyways? Unless they don't know how to read/speak Japanese. ... Or unless they're a translator... or just bored... -shrug-

I'm middle-europe-ian. No, seriously. I mean it. My ancestors were from Austria to Hungary to Ukraine, but I consider myself as Pole, since my mother's from Poland and we live there ; )
I'm a mix.
Japanese/Chinese/Filipino.
I was born in Philippines, though.

Quote from Aeylis
Egyptian/Jordanian. I'm obviously part-pharaoh. Which makes me part god. So I'll add that on too. (just kidding, in a historical sense pharaohs were considered to pretty much be gods. So..yeah...thats where that came from..) I chose Middle-Eastern.
And only a minority of Egyptians ever were part of
the family of pharaohs.
Still as caucasian as ever.
Maybe not the typical Finn,
but one nevertheless.
