Not being able to smack characters upside the head when they do stupid things (mainly in romance). But I also don't like it when manga releases a chapter once a month. I think that's just too much of a gap in between chapters. It kind of makes you tend to forget what happened in the previous chapter. And I heard an argument that said that the art would suffer if it were to be released on a weekly basis. But I've seen manga that is released weekly that has art that blows monthly manga out of the water. Seriously, the biggest gap between chapters should be 2 weeks. But that's just my opinion.

Sometimes manga can get too predictable. I find that I can read it and know exactly what will be in the next chapter without reading it. This doesn't happen all the time though so it's not really important.
A biggy for me is the fact that how slow love relationships take to develop. I'm not talking romance manga (too quick would end the story too fast), I mean stories with it in there not as main part. Either one character is ignorant as hell, or both are.
One that kinda collaborates bot of the aforementioned pet peeves is how easy it is to tell who the main character will fall for. It's always the first girl. I have yet see one that isn't.
All I can think of now.

When the entire plot of a shoujo is like this:
1.girl at school, somehow meets boy
2.girl and boy somehow fall in love (slight variations on this theme)
3.girl and boy admit to being in love (again very slight variations-park/festival/elevator/birthday/christmas and it pretty much stops here)
4.girl and boy are a happy couple (that go on some useless dates no one wants to read about)
5.boy's fiancee comes and creates all the misunderstandings in the next volume. Please stay tuned for the next volume of Love [insert random name that has nothing to do with the series].

Also, harems, useless leads of harem mangas, even more useless G-cup characters of said harem manga, hot spring scenes etcetc. Series that make me feel like I've wasted my time in a nutshell. I could go on for hours ;_;

Predictable storylines in Shonen. Stereotypical art. Series longer than 15 volumes. Shonen Jump. The stereotypical art styles found in most Shoujos. Seinen that are too reliant on violence and action. And probably a lot more...

Stupid, endlessly Cliche main characters.

Run of the mill shojo girl leads. You Know, the stupid, clumsy, annoying, pure, weak, soft-minded, and endlessly whiny ones.

I second the whole panty shots and big boobs thing. It gets really stupid! There are few manga that can actually do these and make it work. I would also have to say the eternally-optimistic-only-here-for-the-comedic-relief kinda characters really annoy me. Also the whole "idol" thing. Annoying as hell! mad

Quote from funkmu1huge tits... ugh... no one in real life has G and H sized boobs.

That's not true. More accurately, so many people don't have such large boobs.

Yeah, I hate when they have large boobs. Actually this happen many times in sheinen.

I can tolerate almost any kind of cliche or stupid act as long as it's not used to often. But every so often i come across a manga that is so stupid that i just want to kill the mangaka.

Take Ayu Mayu for example:
Spoiler (highlight to view)
A brain dead idiot wants to meet his long lost sister...but his tiny brain forgot her name. So now he is faced with two girls from a family as rich as royalty and instead of doing a DNA test to make sure to witch he is related... he sets oun on a series of perverted adventures to uncover who his real sister is. And a conflict who could have taken a page to resolve gets draged out throughout the entire manga.
