Although I agree that Negi is the best (yes he is

Asuma is the best cuz he has a beard with no mustache and that, my friends, is braggable. Also he's a brawler.

Hmm that's tough. My favorite character is Hinata (cause she is just so adorable), but I like Itachi's fighting style. I voted Itachi in the end cause I'm tired of characters who constantly talk during fights (with 1000 flash backs and a deep explanation of why everyone is like him >.>). Also he reminds me of Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha.

Anyway, if I have to choose a "best character ever" in Naruto, it would be Shikamaru.
