Most of my usernames are basically the same.. yet I may change one or two things, so I remember them very easily. And as for passwords.. I use only two different ones, so I don't have to worry but forgetting those.

i use about three diferent usernames and four or five passwords and sometimes i use a new password or a new username, so i get mixed and when i can´t log on i go on trying for combinations (usually i end up checking my username/password mail that i received when i registered at the forum/website)
sometimes it sucks to be me eyes

My memory is very good so as long as I pick a term that has some significance to me I dont need to write it down, only problem is remembering which password goes with which website since I dont use the same one universally.

I keep 2-3 different ones so if I forget I have a 33-50% chance of getting it right.

I got this freeware program "KeePass password safe". It saves all my passwords for me, so no problem. smile

the easiest way is to simply use one password everywhere, or at least similar ones, that way you never lose passwords.

And if someone figures out what it is.......they can access everything. But don't feel bad. I do something very similar, thought I make a few modifications to each one so that I feel secure and sleep well at night.

I write them down and memorize them. I try to make them uniqe from each other so remembering them isn't a problem.
