I'm looking for shojou/josei that isn't filled with drama. I like happy and playful shojous that really helps you lift your mood and so on.
Here are some mangas for reference.
Tensai Family Company
Idakimasu
issho asonde kurashitai
Nodame no Cantible

But, remember please don't post typical shojous, that are about young girls and their love problems.

Kisu Yori mo Hayaku
Heaven!!
Yoroshiku Master
It's not like that, darling
Sakuragaoka Angels

and if you liked Itadakimasu, try also Haa Haa, Ningyo Ouji and Darling wa Namamono ni Tsuki ( same mangaka, Yoshihara Yuki )

I think there was some similar thread before, you could look it up and check for more recommendations.

I've already made these suggestions in another topic dealing with shoujo comedy, but I can't resist recommending them again! ^^ I definitely recommend these following titles as they are LOL-funny (imho) and very silly/fun/cute:

  • Heaven!! (I second this title! <3)
  • My Heavenly Hockey Club
  • My Barbaric Girlfriend
  • Ike Ike Sakura
  • St. Lunatic High School (not as blatantly funny as the rest but there were quite a few moments that made me LOL)

Special A
Koukou Debut
Hana-Kimi
Ouran High School Host Club
The Wallflower
Lovely Complex
My Barbaric Girlfriend
Power!!
Love Celeb [it is rather mature & smutty, being a Shinjo Mayu series]
Love Strip [another Shinjo Mayu series, so smutty, but hilarious]
School Rumble [a shounen, but also hilarious as hell]

I personally LOVE drama & conflict, but these ones are more comedy and amusingly hilarious. ^^

I kinda forgot to mention that I was trying to steer clear from the shojou clichés. I mean they're still great recommendations, but they are pretty typical.
For example:
Hana Kimi, Power - gender bender, where the girl falls in love with her roommate
Special A - Rich bishi shojou
Koukou Debut - Girl falls for the guy, who was mean at first, but who turned out to be a sweet guy in the end

I'm not trying to rip on your taste or those mangas(I actually read and liked most of those). It's just that there are a lot of shojous that have the same plot, character developments and even the same jokes.

Ai Yazawa, I always reccomend her works when people are looking for more "original" shojo.

She did like:
Paradise Kiss
Nana
Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai

and more, she's a pretty good mangaka for shojo and josei
