King's Maker and the sequel series King's Maker: Triple Crown are in a single entry. The links and the way the information is presented is confusing. Especially since King's Maker has one season, but the sequel series King's Maker: Triple Crown has 3 seasons with R15 and R19 versions. The two series are also published on digital platforms as 2 separate entities. King's Maker is a complete story without the sequel Triple Crown.

Should I go ahead and add the series "King's Maker: Triple Crown" and then subtract the info from the King's Maker series information that is for the sequel series?

Same question, but for Under the Green Light which is season 1 and season 2 (and beyond?) is Under the Green Light: In Dreams. Might be a different answer because the reason "In Dreams" (s2+) is published as a separate entity is due to publisher changes.

There is precedent for splitting into separate entities. Lessa has an entry for each season. That's how they were published on digital platforms and therefore it makes sense to reflect that here. Still, Lessa season 1 doesn't work on its own as a series. It needs season 2 to make a full story and season 2 doesn't make sense without season 1. Same can be said for UtGL, but following the precedent set by Lessa series, UtGL could also be separated like that.

You can create a new entry for King's Maker: Triple Crown. Before you do so, you must remove those names off King's Maker

You can do a similar thing for Under the Green Light: In Dreams

The way Lessa has it can remain as-is


Generally, we keep them the same entry between seasons, but we give exemption due to certain circumstances, and these 3 series get that exemption

Tried adding King's Maker: Triple Crown and received an error about the content being too large. Tried submitting again, but now it says there's already a series with that name. I checked to see if it showed up as a pending series in my User CP, but nothing shows up there and it doesn't show up in any search...

I want to update the King's Maker entry, but I will wait until the Triple Crown series is available. I noticed that the Genres for King's Maker is locked with the following explanation:
"Stop removing Shoujo Ai and Shounen Ai. Kakaopage has the series tag as GL since season 2 and the seasons originally release as Shounen Ai monthd before the mature (Yaoi) version."

With the split out of the separate sequel series, genres yaoi and shojo ai no longer apply to King's Maker. The genre controversy and explanation is Triple Crown specific. King's Maker is strictly shounen-ai.
