Hmm... I've been using ACD4 for a long time now. However, it pisses me off cuz sometimes it fails to load rars/zips. Besides, it has problems with archives with unicode characters. I've tried CDisplay and CDisplayEx, but I just couldn't connect with the interface.
I like clicking and dragging a picture around, and scrolling to move between pictures.
Having read the posts here, I've tried PicWalker, which seems to work. However, I couldn't get RAR archives to load though. This problem is from version 4.2, though 4.1 only works with some rar files.
Sigh... Any suggestions ppl? Need a software that is completely operatable using the mouse (custom zoom level, dragging an image around the screen, scrolling to the next/previous image, fullscreen). And by that, I'm not saying toolbars and menus.

I extract files with winrar and view the images using FastStone Image Viewer. It allows you view manga similarly to CDisplay but also allows you to view the entire folder that picture is in. Very easy to use and pretty customizable. I used to use Windows Picture and Fax viewer but for some reason I couldn't get it to work on my new computer, so I just used FS image viewer instead. I also prefer Image viewer to CDisplay it's easier (for me at least) to browse through the chapters/images and find exactly where I want to be. If you tweek the settings a bit, you could use essential operations (zoom, shifting between pictures, etc.) from the mouse.

CDisplay also allow to see all pages in thumbnails (and clicking one of them will take you to that page). Just configure the key ou mouse button for it.

I used to use Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer, but switched to CDisplay. The only thing that really annoyed me about the Windows viewer was that you'd have to resize everything or read tiny text.

Well up until five seconds ago I used Windows Picture and fax viewer till I saw CDisplayEx. Searched it, downloaded it, used it and now happy with it.

CDisplay. It's only annoying when the original file isn't correctly named, so after page '1' is '10'... it should be '01', '02', etc. and I have to go in WinRar and correct it.

Eh? that's tiresome.. so i switch to ACDSee to view the manga... just put in the options original size when display and choose a dark color for the bg and i'm set.

And more useful tools is to full screen the view by pressin F. Space for the next page, backspace for the previous page. CTRL+O to open a new folder. ^^

I'd never heard of ACDSee. Besides, it's something that has to be paid for, and why do that when I can just put forth a little effort and save money?
That's what's wrong with people today. Too damn lazy and think money can solve all their problems.
