I usually listen to music when reading manga on my com - since i'm using the com already, might as well open my music files, right? haha. Since manga just requires the use of eyes... but I try not to listen to my fave songs cuz then I'll start singing along and cant concentrate on reading...
I listen to some J-pop... my fave jap band is KAT-TUN!!!!!!!!

I usually listen to music when I go on my computer and read manga that's on my computer. If it's the published tankobon, I listen to music usually only when I'm on the commute to school or at school, not at my house. I listen to some Japanese songs, mostly anime soundtracks, Asian Kung Fu generation, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and the Pillows. When I'm reading manga, I don't notice the music I'm listening to (but I do notice extended periods of silence). Music with lyrics only bothers me when I'm reading an actual book or textbook, so I resort to music like trance and jazz (cowboy bebop OST).

I usually don't listen to music when I read manga. Once in a while I will listen to music as I am reading but after a few songs I'll stop it.

I only really listen to music when reading (manga or otherwise) if there's a lot of background noise that is distracting.
But I mostly listen to Maximum the Hormone in either case. Sometimes I set my iPod/iTunes on shuffle, but normally I start out with MtH.

When I'm reading manga or manhwa, I usually turn on the tv, preferably a Korean show, and read. Silence can be irritating, so I always have a good source of background sound..

I have my music blasting at all times of the day unless im watching something else that invovles sound. 4000 songs and shuffle feature really come in handy.

Well, I have almost 8000 songs, so I don't get particularly picky. Shuffle ftw.

Usually non-lyrical songs, or ones with lyrics that you don't have much emphasis. Lyrics tend to distract me when I read. Most of them are Elctric, but I do listen to Jazz, some Metal Styles (technical etc nothing too hard), Hard Rock and others tah I'm to lazy right now to list.

It depends.
Language doesn't really matter.
I prefer the tune and choose the right mood that matches the manga I'm reading.

Anything really... the music is more dictated by my mood as opposed to the manga I am reading.
