Why do these things always go toxic...
I spend my week thinking which (modern) anime deserves the Golden Raspberry Award for "Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel" the most. The Souten no Ken: ReGenesis anime is total shit on every level but the source manga are both only ok. Musekinin Galaxy Tylor is another recent pile of shit but it´s an SD spin-off. These are always a joke when it comes to anime, as even GitS got one to "promote" Arise. (Ghost in the Shell ARISE is how you reboot something rightly btw.)

The correct answer, as in most cases, is the obvious one. One this board and every other has already buried under a pile of toxic waste. Berserk 2016/17, S02 specifically. I looked at the Golden Raspberry award winners in the said category, an award that existed since 1994, and it a worse product than any of the 25 "winners". S02 that is. Fifty Shades Darker, Jack and Jill and Son of the Mask all come close to being as bad. Son of the Mask is the only non-requel of course. Summa summarum: Dear Liden Films, please go bankrupt. Your Music's Bad and You Should Feel Bad!

Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (FUJISAKI Ryuu) and Pluto are btw. good examples of strong manga reboots and the Pluto anime ain´t far of now. I also know that the Golden Raspberries are a (bad) joke. But still, they occasionally get it right. Son of the Mask... Jeez Louise.

Quote from Transdude1996
Judaism is a perversion of the Hebrew religion that primarily came as a result of a century under Babylonian rule (Which is also how the Jews got their "Bible", the Talmund).

Just wanted to correct myself here. It looks like Judaism (At least, as we know it) didn't exist until after Christ died, and was made in direct response to the destruction of Israel 40 years later and looking for a way to "keep the traditions of the Pharisees". Just to give people a general overview: http://archive.fo/1caxz

What is the Mishnah?
Compiled around 200 by Judah the Prince, the Mishnah, meaning 'repetition', is the earliest authoritative body of Jewish oral law. It records the views of rabbinic sages known as the Tannaim (from the Aramaic 'tena', meaning to teach).
The Torah – the first five books of the Hebrew and Christian Bibles, as handed down by God to Moses – forms the basis of Jewish written law. The Mishnah supplements the Torah, but its laws lack all scriptural references.
The Mishnah was the first great creation of the rabbis, who were not clergy but rather came from all walks of life. It is a large collection of sayings, arguments and counter-arguments that touch on virtually all areas of life (including Temple ritual, which was long gone).
What is the Talmud?
Over the three centuries following the compilation of the Mishnah, the rabbis added enormously to it with the Gemara: what they called a 'sea' of learning, using stories about both Biblical personalities and their own lives, sober legal arguments and fanciful imaginings of the world of old and the world to come. Around 500 AD they wrote it all down in multiple volumes that go under the name Talmud, 'Teaching'.
...
Moses Maimonides (1135-1204) was a Jewish rabbi, physician and philosopher in Spain, Morocco and Egypt. His religious writings were highly influential. In his Mishneh Torah, completed in 1180, he organised, edited, summarised and codified the laws in the Talmud. This is probably is the greatest individual contribution to Jewish law. He also wrote a Commentary on the Mishnah, one of the first works of its kind. Its contents are widely quoted and appear on the page illustrated above.

So, it looks like Christianity is the oldest "surviving" Abrahamic religion, followed Judaism, and, then, Islam. Just thought that people would like to know.

Strongly disagree. Oral teachings being recorded as written text doesn't mean a shift in core beliefs or practices; it's not creating a 'new' religion. How to order these religions - just place them in the order of when Moses, Jesus and Muhammad are said to have lived and shared the revelations/teachings on which these religions are based.

It is when the basis for your entire belief system is dependent upon rewriting your own holy book because everything over the previous 50 years blew up in your face, and attempting to justify the continuation of newer traditions that lead to the death of a carpenter who preached against everything that you were doing.
