Supermod and spammer, please quit instigating.

Now, do you prefer real plants in a house or do fake ones bug you? (we have some in my house, but they're sort of... eh.)

I like legal plants.

But my fully legit question has not been answered as of yet.

*lol* I meant legal plants.

I think we tend to do it because we'll find something we're curious about and slowly veer off topic, not always realizing it. In some cases, we might never think about pm.

What do you think about people that dress up their dogs? Now this question has a point because I have a miniature pinscher (doberman) that freezes in the winter, so she has sweaters. I also have a pomeranian with a full coat and she has outfits because she gets jealous of the min pin. I have a friend with a dog that eats whatever you put on him and my friend doesn't understand why you'd put clothes on a dog.

So, your thoughts on doggie clothing, please?

I think it's cute, as long as the dog doesn't mind it. It's especially adorable for Halloween. Does your dog have a costume?

Cats don't like wearing clothes >_< I was trying to get mine into a cute top and a skirt (I got it from Build-A-Bear since petshops don't sell clothes for cats). He had a Santa hat too! He hates them though, so I don't force him.

Yep, both of them do. The Min Pin has an orange shirt that says 'Little Monster' with glow in the dark bones while the Pomeranian has a black dress with candycorn hearts that glow in the dark.

and that is not true. I have two cats and they each have bandanas (also Halloween). One used to wear hers constantly, but she lost it and I have yet to buy her a new one. The other cat doesn't wear hers as much, but she bites me when I try to take it off.

Yes~

A couple of ours are big, probably ~15-17 lbs each, and our smallest is around 5 lbs. The other four are somewhere in the middle, with three ~9-10 lbs and one around 7 lbs. The tiny one is siblings with one of the ~9 lbs ones, and she's ALWAYS been much smaller; they didn't even look like they were from the same litter.

yep, I have cats. Most of mine are around five pounds, but I had one that weighed over ten, but he wasn't fat - he was just big. Actually, I have one outside that might be about ten pounds right now, but he's nothing but fat.

Isn't declawing considered inhumane? I mean, what if he accidentally got loose? His chance of survival just dropped by about 30%.

I don't think so... I wouldn't swear to it, but I know you can do it in my state, at least, because my parents did it to a cat they used to have and even without claws, he could still beat up every other cat on the hill. He'd headbutt them, actually. He was a huge Maine Coon cat, actually.

I don't think it's legally banned anywhere, but a lot of vets (including mine) won't do it. It's really pretty awful, they actually amputate the last joint of the cat's toes. no

One of our cats is declawed on the front because that's the way she was found before she was taken to the local shelter, where we got her from. The other six have all their claws, and it shows on our furniture, but I wouldn't put them through that kind of pain just to preserve furniture.

Declawing does limit the cat's ability to do things like climb trees, and obviously fighting ability will be affected too.

Question: What does everyone think about a girl wearing slacks to a funeral?
