In an interview published on page 43 of the April issue of Zassosha's Puff magazine on Saturday, manga creator Hiroyuki Asada revealed that the second anime season based on his Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee manga is slated to launch this fall.
The original manga follows a boy who runs deliveries as a "Letter Bee" messenger throughout a strange fantasy land. An anime special was produced for 2008's Jump Super Anime Event Tour events, and it was later streamed worldwide. Viz Media announced at Comic-Con International 2008 that it is releasing the original manga in North America starting this month.
The first television season has been running in Japan from October of last year to March of this year. The Crunchyroll website has been simulcasting the first season.
