Mangas that should be rated higher
(1 posts, 147 views) Posted: 8d 1h, 52m ago by hahhah42 in I'm Looking For...
Here's the official underrated manga thread, though it lacks much in the way of replies...

So, a non-comprehensive list of manga rated under 7 that are better than MU raters would have you believe:

A Kindly World
Spirits Flying in The Sky
Milk Closet
Garden (FU ...

In case you wanted an explanation as to why the posts are dated that way:

Saha's site was infected with malware for a while in 2014, despite his efforts to remove it. Finally, as a last ditch effort, he purged his entire site and started over from scratch at the en ...
Why is there still a lot of untranslated Tezuka work?
(3 posts, 209 views) Posted: 19d 9h, 32m ago by hahhah42 in Manga General
Sadly, there's a lack of interest in older manga in general - look at how few series have been scanlated out of the year 24 group, for example. However, in the case of Tezuka, all of his series are theoretically licensed now, so some groups that have worke ...
Showing if a manga is fully scanlated or not on the "My lists" pages

Apparently you didn't see the "list options" section at the bottom of the page xJayce linked. You can select both "only show completely scanlated manga" and "only show manga from my reading list" to get the results you' ...

Though not involving time travel, strictly speaking, you might enjoy Nijiiro Togarashi... Though it's the villains who effectively attempt to alter the "past," as it were. (It's also the very rare non-sports manga by Adachi.) ...
Long Manga Series (by chapter)
(17 posts, 781 views) Posted: 46d 20h, 48m ago by hahhah42 in I'm Looking For...
You do realize that the chapter count for monthly series is inherently lower than for weekly series, right? Though as monthly series don't typically run as long as weeklies, I guess it's not that big a deal.

(Freesia is the only example of a monthly series t ...
New Doujinshi Rules In Effect

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'd really like to know why the admins have decided it's in MU's best interest to remove scanlation information from the database.

I just don't see how that improves the site. ...
Manga List Bug Topic

That issue has been pointed out before; it's a universal bug.

You'll just have to live with it for the foreseeable future, as the admins are focusing on other changes to the site. ...

You apparently didn't read the first post in the thread:

So are you going to delete the associated forums for those series that are removed as well?

For example, if you were to come to the conclusion that Akazukin to Yasashii Ookami was never properly published or sold, would this thread be deleted? ...
manga written in 1954

That's a pretty specific request. According to MU's database, the only series that fits would be Phoenix - specifically, the "early works" volume.

Here are the rest of the series listed on MU as published in 1954:

And I agree with everything. Pixiv is self-published, not officially, so those doujins should not be accepted.

All doujins are, by definition, self-published. In any case, I don't see how the proposed policy will make it easier for release mods to deal w ...

Couple of questions for you: Does the protagonist have to remain a child for the entire series, or would it be ok if he grows older as it progresses (e.g. Dragonball)? And does the child have to be the clear main protagonist, or can he split equal time with an adult (or ...
