How much does manga normally cost in your country?
(43 posts, 1639 views) Posted: 45d 7h, 11m ago by Sayori x3 in Manga General
I live in Canada. Volumes range from $9-15, plus tax (8~13% tax).

However, the price isn't that much of a concern. It's mainly the selection. There's practically no manga series available apart from the really popular ones. Canadian resellers mo ...

What happened to scanlation groups?
(2 posts, 268 views) Posted: 54d 16h, 47m ago by Sayori x3 in Manga General
Last two years ago, it was all the hype for groups to be spontaneously created consequently have many series picked up.

However, now that basically all the good/cliche series have been picked up, there's nothing else good left for new groups to pick up, s ...

Is you system a stock prebuilt computer with random manufacturer OEM software installed on it? Sometimes they can have their own software that handles fan speeds and adjusts them accordingly to computer temperatures. That might just be the thing. ...

Scanlators stupidity.
(18 posts, 1118 views) Posted: 60d 21h, 28m ago by Sayori x3 in Manga General
It's because most people who start up groups become greedy and attempt to claim series as soon as they can, before others can pick them up. I can vie for this since I myself did it when I started off, but I don't bother doing it anymore.

The issue more ...

How does big online manga reading sites manage to keep popular manga?
(4 posts, 325 views) Posted: 64d 20h, 50m ago by Sayori x3 in Manga General
They essentially ignore C&D's and just hope they never get sued.

And the second issue that makes it harder to sue is the fact that most of their servers are hosted in other countries and locations that give publisher companies little to no jurisdiction.
