Description
Pure Marionation is the story of Anon, a "marionette" or android cute girl. Ostensibly, she is enrolled in Waffle High (no, seriously, that's the name) to test out her AI, codenamed ALIS. Immediately, Anon's secret is discovered by classmate Miamo, who is sworn to secrecy and determines to protect Anon from...I'm not sure what.

Pure Marionation was an enjoyable read. As shonen/seinen moe yuri manga go, I would actually rate it quite high.
The art is high-quality for the genre; it stays cute, but remains detailed. The plot, a burgeoning romance between an android pretending to be human and a human who doesn't know the truth, isn't exactly original by any means, but it is executed satisfactorily.
What the manga does very well is create appealing characters. Protagonist Anon is immediately likable. Tsundere-ish Aina is just adorable. The other major characters fill their roles sufficiently. After each chapter you'll want to read the next to find out what happens to them all.
All in all, it is a yuri manga well-worth reading.
