the first story is about a pure relationship between a nomad and a sheikh. their relationship is straightforward and we feel happy as they are happy. the subsequent stories are all have dark tones. it is wild, brutish, and ugly - their emotions rip each other apart to control their hatred and lust. i love it. i love the way in the incest theme story they fall farther and farther in despair as they continue to entangle themselves in sin. their emotions are portrayed clearly and i can feel the tension in the atmosphere.

i would prefer this manga volume focus solely on dark theme, as the first story felt out of place. however, all of them are good.

The first story is absolutely adorable, in a good meaning. I immediately fell for all of the characters. As for me this is exactly what you can call "cute". Nice plot, excellent art, sweet and tender characters. It was pleasure to read it. For this story 10 points. Even without hot sex scenes (btw this mangaka is lacking in long&hot sex scenes, if she draws some, they're always too short, that's a pity cause I love her drawing style)

next one story - really good - 9 points
Ibitsu na Kakera - is just so-so, even if forbidden love between bothers is not my thing, I've read better stories in this genre... 5 points
Kusatta Rasen - also not my thing, but it's low. This kid is simply broken minded and his father is insane, watching them was a pity. I think I shouldn't read it after all... ;/ 2 points

Rakuda Tsukai to Ouji no Yoru it pulls at your heartstrings; even though it is a 68-page oneshot only, I found myself almost tearing up for the relationship Kamel established with his pets and other animals. It really is sweet. The romance is perhaps a little too sudden but the characters, individually, are lovable enough for me to wish for a sequel (or the extra). I sympathized with Alphard a lot, even though we only got to see a little glimpse of his real self (I don't know how that happened myself, fufu). Overall I liked this first story a lot, though I'm sure it would have succeeded a lot more if it was longer. The art style is nice, plus that first colorful piece is to die for. So: 8.

Oboreru Sakana aww man, it was so good. An portrays the kind of uke I like and that I don't find that often: introspective, detached, with a dry sense of humor. Loved him. Towards the middle I did fear for his sanity, getting involved with a no-good spoiled brat like that, fufu. Usami had his strengths too. Personality-wise I think they had quite the chemistry going on, even though in terms of art style this one was considerably "worse" than the first story. I absolutely adored An though! 8.5

Ibitsu na Kakera is absolutely unlike the first two. The message is not a positive one and it introduced a whole different kind of psychologically damaged characters. I guess since it's incest, that's a given. I, for one, am a sucker for brotherly incest and even more so for abusive and psychotic relationships. Needles to say, the third story (chapter 4, mind you) was absolutely to my taste. However, given this was only a oneshot, and since I was really getting into it, in the end it feels too sudden. Anyway: 8.5

Kusatta Rasen Parent-child incest is really not my thing if we bypass the very obvious exception of Not Equal. I also don't think the characters were fleshed-out enough, even for a oneshot.

the first 3 stories are really heart-warming and the last 3 are really twisted. I love the art and the light, romantic stories chise-sensei creates but the darker ones are so disturbing, you can't really sympathize with any of the characters.

I'm a pretty big fan of ogawa chise's works, and I've always loved how skillfully she executes twisted, painful love. The first story of this collection is very sweet but each story after that is progressively more messed up until the last story which was totally out of control.
ogawa chise's art is absolutely lovely; her smut is hot and she's great at pacing for optimal intensity and writing interesting unique stories. usually I'm not a fan of incest, but any uncomfortableness I felt only added to the heart pounding intensity and expressions of cruelty of the 4th and 5th chapters (the ones focuses on incestual relationships)
overall, it wasn't the best, but it was sweet, it was intense, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
