Spoiler (highlight to view)
badly written, poorly organized, etc. So even if the professor had ulterior motives and was in love with the uke from the beginning, there's no way you could've known or even guessed. When there's such twist, the plot should leave clues. Maybe she was trying to pass it off as a "mystery" an "unexpected" turn of events. But how are we supposed to get hooked if the way to get there's so irksome. The professor pissed me off just as much as the uke did. The professor knew about the game but still decided to participate in it and in the process hurts his "loved" one (the uke). So where i'm getting at is, what's the point? I really dislike such characters. They're the worst type of semes ever. And then at the end they shield it up with "you can't play with the feelings of others so I decided to punish you". What a douchebag! Wasn't he doing the exact same thing??? The uke decided to play the game just means he was starting to like the professor... AND HE KNEW THAT. Such an ass. I just really saw him as an overly conceited, manipulative, sunavabich -_- And then goes the cliche line of all sunavabiches: "have more confidence in yourself, because you are the one I chose." what utter BS. Confidence is self-made. You don't gain it by having someone boost it up for you. Well that's a contributing factor but for starters you should gain it yourself. And when such character is written it makes you "want" to pity the uke but no, not really. He's an idiot. The only thing he did right was getting out of the game. I could say, "well whatever they ended up together so horay!". But you know that doesn't make the flaws any forgivable. I read this so fast, practically skimmed through it. I like some of the mangaka's works so I gave this a try till the end. Not my cup of tea. Oh and the extra! Really, actions speak better than words. Cheesy dialogues won't convince your reader.
The extra story was very movie like. Two people meet, pretend to be lovers but fall in love. Not much, very baseless actually but after reading the first story it comes off as a breeze. Eases your mind so you forget all the irksome factors from the first story.
Overall, I don't recommend it. If you like the author, read her other works. She's got others that can make you happy. T.T If you like student-teacher relationship, don't bother cause the setting's in a university so it's really not an obstacle and there are so many, so so many other student-relationship yaoi stories out there. Read those instead.
Even though I complain a lot, compared to other frustrating semes the professor's a 5 and i'm a sucker for happy endings so plus 1

I read a lot of yaoi and I've forgiven a lot of character and plot flaws as long as it fit the story and the flow is great. But THIS manga irked me so much I couldn't finish because the super happy, sweet ending wouldn't make it up for me.
The uke was introduced as this serious, studious guy for 2-3 pages, and then for the rest of the story he became a sulking teenage girl with love issues. I wanted to believe otherwise, but as soon as he joined the game to win the seme's heart and selfishly, confidently believed he was different from everyone else he made me annoyed; how so did he think he was so different? I described him as selfish and confident, but then mesh that with inconsistent, a lot of brooding, and indecisiveness. There are ukes from other yaois with that kind of personality, but while they are lovable or pitiable this uke was most definitely not.
The seme; well, to me he was just there. He didn't act much like a teacher.
The game, which was a plot device, was poorly written. The teacher-student dynamics of their relationship was meh and didn't matter, either.
