If you're looking for something funny without heavy plot, you can't go wrong with Hot Milk. The only problem with this manga is that it's only two volumes, I could've happily read a dozen more.
I'm usually into big long-running shounens, but it's nice to read a short manga like this every once in a while. For what it is, it's perfect - no ambitious plotlines, no romance, just comedy and a bit of action.
Although this series is short, it has somewhat of a plotline, no actual major goals or anything, more like a series of fillers with the same people following the same time frame, the art and comedy makes this story what it is, a must read.
I love it when mangas stray away from the average and mundane. Hot milk is a hilarious manga, that suffers from lack of story. The good news is that the manga stays true to being a comedy, and doesn't get muddled up with romance and echii, like most others do.
