I love this story so much, it's the kind where you want to read it in one go to know how it progresses and i'm not disappointed. It has a prequel (Mood Indigo) and a sequel or a continuation (Pornographer Playback) to it so i think despite this story being short (though i don't think it's that short), the prequel and sequel are suffice to cover the story more.
Much fun!

Funny plot, nice characters and actually unexpected plot twists. Art was pretty as well, nothing exceptional, I tend to prefer other styles, but proportions and anatomy looked good and there were backgrounds. Not a masterpiece but still something that distinguishes itself from other BL and that I won't forget soon.
Dude this is surprisingly sweet

It's well-written, not too rushed and not agonizingly slow. I do wish it was longer, but only because I loved it so much. Yeah, there's smut, but it genuinely makes sense in the context of the story. The art is *chef's kiss*.

I'm amazed at the scoring, which makes me doubt manga-updates ratings even more. I'm beginning to suspect that a hormonal, raging, 13-year old girl/boy is down voting every yaoi in existens just because it doesn't have -the- classic ending. You know, the ending were it's fluffy and sparkly and the couple lives happily ever after amongst unicorns.
To the hormonal kid, stop that.
To the rest, don't mind the votes. They're shitty and does not represent the manga. The story is original, which is a feat in it self. Characters will grow on you, especially the uke, and the overall phasing is very well done. Downside? Yes, there is, but not a huge one though and totally dependent on personal opinion. Personally I thought the downside was that the manga was too short, with the story and characters portrayed, it could've branched out even more. Alas I'm not the author and my humble opinion is....well humble.
Read it and decide for yourself.

I was about to ditch this manga just because The rating was so los, luckily i was drawn by The art... Brilliant!! And funny, The art IS gorgeus for my taste. The uke IS fucking crazy like those clichés about novelists and writers, Hot delusions, what i didnt like was this lapse in time between them, It took more than 2 years yo be together... And it's not The first time, lot of japanese stories have this trait, its sad. Why they cannot be Happy together right away? Foro god's sake it's manga!!!!

It's disappointing to see the low scoring of this manga.
I agree with OmNom's comment regarding this work. MARUKIDO Maki's work is truly astounding and well developed, with an eye to detail, story framing, using of paneling and narrative structure as well. I didn't feel that a single panel had been excessive. The tankoubon limit truly does limit the creativity of this work, and a few more chapters to further develop the relationship would have been much more appreciated. However, I believe a work of art should be judged on what it has presented not what it would have been capable of presenting.
As such, even within the tankoubon inscribed limit the character development is well handled.

I really liked the story but I was a bit dissapointed with the development, I felt it was like it was like, somehow, incomplete(?) or like the manage of the rhythm was awkward, but I still enjoyed it a lot.
The art art, on the other side, is soooo god, just how I like it, pleasing to the eyes n.n I really look forward to reading other works of this mangaka! :3

I was over the moon when I found out this manga's original oneshot, which I first came across 2 years ago, was finally being serialised into a longer work. The premise had everything it could've asked for and I was sucked right in the story with its intriguing characters and unique setting. Which is a shame that they are somewhat glossed over as the plot progresses and we never truly get to know any of the characters to understand their actions and motivation. New knots are tied as new events spring up without ever being satisfactorily resolved. I think the space limit of a tankoubon is an immense setback here creatively speaking; one more volume would have been sufficient to flesh everything out to actually get the story somewhere. I still like the manga, though, for the most part, especially its artwork and design for the uke. I mean, just look at that cover! Will definitely be on the lookout for more from the author; consider myself anticipated for more.
