Description
As a child, Kawagoe Haruma eagerly awaited the birth of his little sister. However, his mother had a miscarriage, followed by an operation that left her barren. That Christmas, Haruma made his Christmas wish. It was a wish so innocent and heartfelt that it was accepted instantly, unbeknownst to him.

C-S is indeed cute, kawaii even, but there is more to it than that. It touches on serious issues and problems and actually handles them pretty well. It's not a drama, at least not at the start, and certainly won't change anyones life, but there's a lot of depth to go with the fluff. It easily ranks in my top 5 manga of all time.
oh man, as far as predictable manga's go, this one keeps me guessing. not only is it interesting and funny, but its so unique.
also, i dont know about you guys, but im so so so very tired of episodic romance manga's. ABSOLUTELY not the case here. There is a plot, and it keeps on going and going. not only that, but its GOOD.

At first, I was quite relucant about reading it. I mean, the idea of that story didn't seem so apealing to me.
But after I started reading, especially after the first volume, the story was so good, cute, and well written that I couldn't stop.
Not to mention amazingly drawn. The art is very good, with backrounds, and stylish clothes. And the mangaka draws some moments in a special "light" sort of way.
Cute and funny misunderstandings. (by choko mostly).
Endearing characters, which most have a story of thier own, that is revield later on.
A good read, with funny and dramatic momments.
And no, it is not a lolicon.

This is one of the few instances where I read a slice of life manga as much if not more for its art as I do for its story. The story is good by itself (chapter 36 really surprised me) but Takeuchi Sakura's art in this series has this balanced, detailed, beautiful and subtle quality that I really have never seen in other manga.
this manga is nice, i agree, a light read and it is something that can brighten up your day but i think the author is giving too much detailed drawings on choko's body which i think is somehow out of line maybe because in a way it is provoking the readers to have dirty thoughts on a little girl. Honestly im not a malicious person but then i would be a liar if i say that looking at choko's body doesn't give me a boner. besides that fact everything else is ok to me =) 7 peace out!

Slice of life with romantic undertones and a semi-interesting set-up. That pretty much sums it up, but sometimes, I feel kind of strange calling it slice of life.

People who see lolicon in this manga should get their eyes, no, their PERVERTED BRAINS checked > =( No lolikon stuff here, end of discussion.
For me it's a "rest for the soul" stuff like the Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou manga. CS actually puts me in an anti-pervert mode =)

Taking aside the main plot (a young man receiving from 'Santa' a little sister), most of the story is 'real-life' which is cool. But most of the women that are supposed to be adults, are drawn with small, kid-like bodies. And if you add that more that it should, Choko (and other young girls) shows nudity, it makes you think you are really reading a Lolicon (which is not cool).
A cute and funny manga that u could keep on reading
Quite possibly the cutest manga I've ever read. Art is very good, characters are nice, and the humor is not idiotic, but as funny as hell.
This can be classified as your lighthearted Chobits, with less ecchi themes. Recommended for ALL(!) who can at least endure some nudity.
