Koiko has lived her life under an overly-attached mother and a distant, neglectful sister. While she dislikes the idea of drowning in it, Koiko still wants to be in love, so she settles for being an average high schooler with an average boyfriend and an average relationship. One day, the most popular boy in school, Tsurugi, sends her a message: "Your boyfriend is cheating on you." This is where our story begins!

cause this one is so GOOD!
that I've tried reading the mangaka's older works, but after a few chapters, I gave up. If you want to skip this one because her older works were not your cup of tea, then, please do give this one a chance! 👍

No reviews? Seriously, this is one of the few unique shoujo I have ever read.
Unique in a sense that doesn't mean it doean't have cliches.
Koiko has this obsession with being average (average all, looks, boyfriend, grades) but doesn't quite get why our main boy Tsurugi, think she's not average.
I think what the story is trying to convey is that, someone along the way, there's this special person who thinks that you are one of a kind. That's basically it. Typical?
You have to read it for yourselves. The characters, their interaction, inner monologues and pacing makes this so unique.
