I was expecting a slow burn romance between two band members after one sets off on a journey of love. Instead, this was much closer to a journey of self discovery and finding worth in relationships. The scenes and ambience even when going on a sunny road trip just feels more dark and gritty because of the overhanging tension between the love interest and ML. All the characters serve to push their relationship forward or give context to why they treat each other in the way they do. By the end, I could almost feel both character's desires to see the other happy but feeling held back by other's rejection of their happiness. I would definitely recommend this series. If you are looking for sex scenes, the series has some but are often fast and unimportant, serving instead as a symbol of where the ML's head is at.
