Description
When a person dies, their soul turns into a butterfly and flies away. Holding the thoughts and consciousness of the deceased, this butterfly can last for 49 days before fading away completely.
In this world, the Death Bureau, a national agency that collects and freezes dead souls’ butterflies, lets the family of the deceased interact with the data in their relative’s butterfly through a 3D hologram. Their duty also includes making sure butterflies don’t end up in the wrong hands – without killing or getting killed!

Interesting premise and believable characters. The story itself could have gone on a bit longer as we look into how important these butterflies are and how people view them. Unfortunately the series feels axed as we really never get a deep dive into the intricacies of a society with butterflies. Ending wasn’t particularly bad but I would have loved more.
Interesting concept with very lovable characters. I really like the fact that every main character seems to have a personal (sometimes undisclosed) reason for being part of the Death Bureau. Let's see how the author develops them while showcasing their personal struggles as the story progresses. So far, so good.
