I read the three translated volumes in one sitting. The romcom aspect of this series is pretty standard, the real draw is in the absurdities that pile up in the broken kusoge world and the characters that inhabit it. I was consistently laughing out loud the whole time reading, right down to the last extra chapter. It's definitely worth a try, and you'll probably know whether you like it or not right away.
