While I agree with everyone about the outrageous humour and the spoofy dialogue and dream sequences by the heroine, I personally thought the hero was a bit too cold and asinine towards her, at least throughout volume 1. Too much actually. This is still a shoujo! If you treat the heroine like dirt, you will get kicked in the face!

I really like this series, the guy's eyes look kind of funny in the first chapter...but in the chapters after that..he gets so much better looking! I think it's a funny manga and the story's pretty nice so far, can't wait for more!

This manga brings back memories. It was the first ever manga that I bought for my personal library, when I was starting to become interested in Manga/Anime. And while it gives me the warm fuzzies from thinking about it, READING it is another thing completely.

I don't know what I was thinking back then. My taste was obviously very poor and lacked refinement.

Megane Ouji is, simply put, horrible. The male protagonist is cold and unkind. I don't even remember his name from how much I ended up disliking him later on.

Sachiko is a typical shoujo chick: clumsy, scatterbrained, and utterly annoying.

The opening scene was as overdone and cliche as possible. A love confession, rejection, the heroine introduces herself...

Their romance couldn't be more stilted and fake. Sachiko, if he treats you like dirt from day 1, he's not worth it. Get over him. He is not husband material. Any girl deserves better than him.
Bo-ring.

The only thing I like, even now, is the art. It's pretty and carries a light, airy feeling with it.

So, while I keep it in my shelf, volumes 1 and 2 carefully preserved, I never read it. It's too painful to go through with, even for nostalgia's sake.

I really like the plot.. Bout her confessing to him and then them living together... But i so hate the coldness of megane san towards the girl... I read the whole scanlated chap.s For one day so maybe i just got sick of those like him/ ignore her attitude throughout the manga... But i like it (^v^) i recommend this for shoujo fans who like to read a super long "pleasing the guy" story .. (^_^)

This series makes me laugh, so I like it a lot. It's loaded with all sorts of clichés, but it pokes fun at those clichés at the same time, so there's an aspect of parody that makes it more interesting and original. I also really like both the guy and girl lead characters... they're a lot of fun!

WuAa.... this manga so amazing!!! I love so much ^^ Especially akira !!! he's very cool!!! the first chapter is very fun ha..ha..ha... so read this manga.....

This manga is HILARIOUS. The first chapter made me laugh so much. The female lead is such a fantasizer, it reminds me of...me. ;-; and the male lead keeps her down to earth (well, tries), I looooove it. hahah. I recommend this to anyone up for an amazing laugh.
