Contrarily to what you might think, this is not a manga but a French comic strip - a sort of saga featuring a fantasy world, where dragons, demons, dwarves, warriors, spirits, giants, dispensers of justice, wanderers, mercenaries, elves, magicians, emperors, succubuses and other creatures walk among each other in never-ending wars, for a new world order to arise. This is what happens, in a way, when D&D meets Lord of the Rings' themes of a world unfolding and is made into a comic strip, a "bande dessinée", as the French call it. It's the story of a nation, of an empire being born, as alliances are made, friendships are kindled and wars are waged to gain control of wartorn lands and get rid of powerful foes.
