Description
From Storm in Heaven:
Katsuya's life is turned upside down when he contracts a strange blood disease. On one hand, a doctor who is an old friend tells him to seek treatment immediately -- but then a strange man appears and tells him that the doctor will kill him. Who's telling the truth, and what exactly is this "Specter" he's infected with? And what could it possibly have to do with his dead father...?

Okay I admit the cover looks a little bit cheesy but still nonetheless the story is amazing.
BEWARE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY SPOILERISH BUT ITS MORE IN REGARDS TOWARDS WHAT TYPE OF A MANGA IT IS NOT THE ACTUAL PLOT.
Think of it as a more action filled shounen-ai with a twist of mystery and also there's a ton of sci-fi but due to the nature of the sci-fi it's more supernaturalish.(it isn't the futuristic type sci-fi btw)
If you're looking for a manga with tons of Yaoi then this isn't that. This has like one maybe two kiss scenes in it but is sweet in a bittersweet(kinda?) way, but that's not to say that it's a tragedy.

This had a really interesting (if far fetched) story line, but the emotion and character development was diminished by the short length. This would have been a lot better had it moved at a slower pace over significantly more volumes.
I liked the length. I thought drawn out it could have got a little silly, or irritating. I really liked this series, it's unusual and the pacing is good. The ending was too beautiful 
The story has a very interesting premise that I'd like to have seen explored a bit more.
The violence is plentiful and very graphic.
I love the ending, it's worth the trauma of the violence just to read it.

Interesting series although I felt that the pacing and plot were short-changed by the length of this manga. Perhaps, it might've been more interesting and memorable had it been a few volumes longer.
