The description up there doesn't really say much, so I didn't know what to expect when I read this. But it turned out to be quite a cute story!

To give people a better idea of the story, this oneshot is about Chinami, a country girl who is excited about moving to Tokyo to study amongst "cool and stylish" people. She's basically crushed to find that most of her classmates look at her with disdain and had despaired of fitting in, when she meets Sou, who convinces her to join in his quest to form a "Produce Club" where he'll makeover girls who want to change.

Chinami is pretty quiet and lacks confidence, but what sets this story apart from all the other ones where girls get made over to become "pretty" is Sou. He's more like a shoujo manga heroine than Chinami, hilariously enough - he's hyper, optimistic and overly affectionate (Chinami actually complains at one point that he keeps squeeing about how cute she is). It's refreshing not to have a cool jerk as a male lead. Sou isn't driven by some major goal, either; he just likes making pretty clothes and accessorizing.

Really a short and enjoyable story.
