Description
From Fantasy Shrine:

To break from the monotonous summer holidays, Okunuki decides on a spur of the moment to visit his senpai’s farm. There, he meets his senpai’s son, Iku. With this opportunity, Okunuki begins to care for Iku and Iku also starts to let his guard down…

i suggest reading tsunoda's work in chronological order, because her stories keep getting stronger. this one actually has a little depth, though it maintains a humourous line throughout. i was a wee bit skeeved by the relationship moving so fast because the kid has real problems; the age gap creates a power imbalance that bothers me. yeah i know, this is BL, but if a story gets presented to me as serious, i take it seriously. i think this might be due to a general problem she has with pacing -- it starts out nice and slow, and towards the end it always rushes. i would like this story to cover 2 volumes, then i would be less skeeved.

kinda fun to see a manga set on a farm, complete with calving.

Nothing Extraordinary, But Heart Warming

Tsunoda-sensei has sweet and romantic down! Like The Allure of Fate is Tasty, this one is tender, sweet and romantic without--surprisingly--being mundane or saccharine.

Her art style is recognizable: long faces, thin lips and stylized, simplified bodies and facial features. Her characters remain emotive even with the straight lines of her work.

She always has just enough tension in her pretty regular story lines to keep me reading.

This was really cute. I really quite like this mangaka, so far out of her works i've not read a single manga by her that has made me grimace or turn away - but there is a noticeable improvement in her stories i've noticed bigrazz this is pretty good, its funny, its cute, but its got its serious side as well. Quite a nicely rounded manga, my only complaint is that it seemed too short to me ^^ but the story was rounded off nicely, so i guess im just being greedy ;3
