Beautifully Done

Very sweet. I thought for sure this would be borderline or definite comedy, but its not at all. The whole married relationship is on the same level as that of a regular marriage - its serious, they have issues in their marriage together, with each other and with their circumstances, and they reconcile those problems in a realistic everyday way. It was relaxing to read and very sweet, when they finally get their feelings for each other sorted out i couldn't help but smile.

The short stories following i found cute, but not very memorable. Still, they were decent, and worth the read. And chapter 8 is back to the main story bigrazz found that chapter really adorable, nice send off.

The main story is simple but really interesting to read (I was attracted by the idea of two men marrying in a traditional way). The artwork is beautiful and I enjoyed this manga overall. The only thing that didn´t worked for me is that the characters looks too young for my taste, I usually prefer characters who look more adult.

I loved the whole marriage concept - that was great!

But some of those boys were SO FEMININE that they belonged in shoujo comics as girls. Seriously. That wasn't something I was a fan of.

But overall, pretty good.

I really love the art!! And after reading Hanayome-kun, this was as good as that!!~
As i said about the prequel, even here it would have been better only with the main story, the one-shots werent necessary at all.
Really, a sweet cute yaoi manga!!~ Okay H scenes and much feelings!! Be sure to try it!!~

I love Hoshino Lily. She puts a lot of heart into her work and the first story was so poignant to me--you can't NOT put yourself into the shoes of Kouichirou, because who hasn't been in that situation and felt those feelings of rejection? Just seeing his tentative hope, and then hurt, drawn so skillfully made my throat close up. This is a really beautiful, simple, and touching manga.

Simple but Magical

A simple story line, but magical! The art is highly emotive, sometimes entire conversations are held through looks alone. Her artwork is fantasy-like even in this story, where all the creatures are still human, albeit with strange family customs! The sexual tension is gentle yet powerful. The story is tender and sweet. The one shot with the glasses-wearing boy had quite the funny moments!

Still underwhelmed

The prequel did not exactly wow me and neither did this sequel. It's still quite clichéd and corny, and none of the characters particularly stood out as very interesting to me. I'm also not a fan of the art style, unfortunately. The ukes are always more feminine, more girlish and more submissive than the semes, which is a trope I'm definitely uncomfortable with.

Check this out for the drawings & illustrations of slow intimate scenes; not for the plot.

The drawings are pretty (I love how sensei uses lines & how she draws body shapes alone & together) but the story & flow did not capture my interest. To be blunt, the plot was boring & did not offer anything new despite it starting out with weird concepts (which I thought was a good sign & a way to make the story interesting). Well, that did not happen in the end.
