Description
From Wikipedia:
Enno Ozuno, Master of the Enno temple used the demon guardian spirit Zenki to defeat the demon goddess Karuma. After defeating Karuma, he later sealed Zenki away in a pillar until needed again.
Centuries later, his descendant, a school girl named Chiaki Enno (役 小明, Enno Chiaki, or Cherry Night in some dubs) is able to free Zenki, although the demon currently has the form of a brattish demon child. To transform this extremely defiant demon into the form that made him useful by her ancestor, she uses a bracelet that appeared on her wrist when servants of Karuma broke the seal that imprisoned a seed of Karuma. Zenki appears because the seeds of Karuma (which look like eyeballs) start appearing and turning people into monsters and Zenki needed again to eradicate this menace.
The manga is from 1992. The manga and the anime series develop differently, and have different ends. The art is old, but looks good. This series is nice paced and interesting.
You get to see some full and partial nudity, panty shots (and the really short skirt of Chiaki let you see her panties really often), gore and good battles. Is more mature than the anime series.
Some groups have released a few chapters in english. The series has also chapters translated to spanish in some sites, but there is not a site where the series is completed (a lot of chapters are missing). In the sites were the manga is in spanish, the translation is rather simplified in some parts (the english version has much more detailed explanations and dialogues there). Both version don´t say exactly the same, but the overall idea is similar.
I recommend find a site where the spanish version is available to check out in case some page got missing or mixed up (you will get the feeling something is off) in the english version. Though the final chapters are available in spanish, we´ll have to wait till some group is able to release the missing chapters. It's a shame, because this series is pretty good.

After reading the available chapters of the manga, I have to say the manga is much better than the anime. The story in both of them is not exactly the same, but there are many points in common.
I've only watched the anime, so I can't really say much about the manga. But if my hunch is correct and the anime follows the manga closely, then the manga should be enjoyable as well (at least to me). The way the plot works is that they fight and execute small-time villains as a subplot, but there is also a main plot. It's quite nejoyable really. And IMO, Zenki is just GAR. It's sad that's it's not scanlated, though. However, all in all, it is awesome. (Just basing this off the anime).
