The unassuming and similarly unpretentious sister story to Kawa Yori mo Nagaku Yuruyaka ni, another manga by Yoshida Akimi. It has much less comedy, but the realism, somewhat daring themes, and allure of the girls it follows makes up for the lack of laughs.
She covers sexuality in ways that don't at all feel romanticised or idealised, but isn't vilified either. Sometimes having sex isn't so great, sometimes you're not attracted to the opposite gender, sometimes you'll not get over someone, sometimes people will perceive you in ways you would prefer they didn't. It is what it is, and life goes on, just as it did before.

It's a very quiet and discreet manga that I find quite enjoyable. It's not always a fun time, but its characters are easy to care about, which is surprising in a manga this short. Very few can manage to make a compelling cast as quickly and as simply as Yoshida, but that's what makes her art such treasure.
