very nice art, good character development. But its really slow.
.
Actually, lately this manga has reached a climax of boredom hardly equaled. It still keeps a very nice art, but the writing has become a slow agony. I rate it 6/10
.
Still much better than shounen like naruto, but I prefer mangas like Blade of the immortal, which are even deeper than Vagabond, but still keep a good pacing (most of the times)

Spiritual but brutal is the approach of this manga..The story is great with some surprises, and more on character development is the focus. How to be enlightened using the way of the sword...Artwork is also awesome and just perfect for the brutality of the plot. Although i was hoping for a stronger romantic influence, it doesnt have to be major, just add some more..hehe
Awesome Series

Awesome. Especially enjoy not having to read the main character shouting out the names of his moves during every fight
People complain it's slow, but that's because they're used to reading Bleach and Naruto. This manga seems to be aimed a bit higher than that ^_^

I have no words to describe my feelings. All I can say is that it took me 8 hours to read it thru. I wanted to stop but i couldn't. I kept stopping at pages stunned by the drawings. I lived with the characters. They are still in my blood, that is how well the story is written and people are developed. Also, I am not a fan of parallel stories, but this one is different. I love how the stories got united.. Well, what I wanted to say is that I love it. And would recommend it to anyone. I haven't found anything that it would lack. It also helped me on some views of my own. Gave me a different look on some things.
Now that I caught up with it, I hope the wait for single chapters won't drive me mad.

Hmm, everything is perfect except i just hope there'd be a tiny bit more of "romance" that's why it's "just" a 9.5/10, but ofc this is just my subjective opinion ^^.
The art just fits this manga, the fights are drawn well and the (as mentioned below) characters DO change and develop and evolve.
Definitely a must read!

Wow, I'm not a huge fan of this kind of manga, but this is probably one of the best I've ever read. The character development and paralell stories are really well done and even though there are stretches without any dialogue, it still speaks volumes. The art, and the style of the artist are excellent and often tell as much if not more of the story than the dialogue.
Very very good manga
