The good news, the art of this story is very pretty.
The bad news, the story is mediocre, and that's stretching it. The characters have no depth and the author is trying to make the story emotional but it's forced and the plot is sadly rushed.

The story seems a bit rushed and the romance doesn't seem natural because of it... but the artwork and emotion in the story more than makes up for it. I really like this mangaka's style. Her characters are easy to relate to and her stories and dialogue seem to jump right off the page. I just wish this manga had been longer, so the romance could've blossomed in a more believable way. Still, this was a great read and I'll be looking for more of this mangaka's work.
"Sketching the Color of Love" is a great one-shot, as well. The male lead is just adorable - you can really see why the heroine would fall for him!
The story is realistic and charming, with a solid ending that satisfies. I would definitely recommend this one-shot to anyone who likes school romances or sweet one-shots. I enjoyed this even more than the main story.

The plot is very cliche and predictable to a point that it gets extremly boring. The characters have no depth nor brain, there's no way you can relate to them and appear just when is convenient.
The shojo world is plenty of simple, cliche or not, mangas that worth more than this, I recommend you not wasting your time in this one, trust me.
