The storyline isn't anything special, but that doesn't bother me since I've always liked Mizukami Shin's works. However, what did bother me was the last chapter, which I felt was way too rushed and ended what could have been a more well-rounded story. I wish the last chapter had expanded on some back-story and relationship development instead of tidying everything up with sex.

I read the second story first which was well read but there’re some cons I noticed. Misono was caring yet he changed a bit bc of what Kizaki did for him. Kizaki, on the other hand, loved Misono and would risk his life for his safety. The ending was sweet along with a funny extra chapter.
The ninja story is the one I love more. Omg, the characters are so beautiful and seductive! I could tell that Kirimaru really loved Tobimaru but was hurt by his betrayal. No matter how much grudge he was longing for, he just couldn’t dirty his hands on him bc he still loved him. Mozu helped him changed by becoming his better lover than Tobimaru. I really wanted an extra chapter of Kirimaru’s relationship with Tobimaru before that incident.

I just read this manga. It would to have been interesting to know if young Dr. Misono was a virgin or had a girlfriend prior to the war. It was a decent manga. I laughed when Kizaki told the soldier to leave since the doctor was currently "occupied" when he walked in on them having sex. The look on the poor doctor's face was priceless. But who would want to have sex with a person when they are sick with malaria and fever? Yuck! I agree, a backstory for the 1st story would have helped.

The ninja story was unique ! Always been in love with this art. The semes and ukes are so hot and sexy. The graphic scenes are so well drawn too. Read all the stories! The 1st story is cute !! i like how they loved each other..
But for the 2nd story it kinda rushed ending.

I usually don't go for military relationships, but I've never met a Shin Mizukami manga I could take a pass on. Fortunately for me, the second story was about ninjas with long hair; I'm all over that any day.

Mizukami has a clothing fetish; you will notice this after you've read just a small handful of her stuff. Boy's school uniforms, military uniforms, traditional Japanese clothing, Chinese Hanfu, anything set in the past....She bases her stories around an excuse to draw them. She also has a thing for doctors, teachers, male prostitutes, & is particularly fond of master-servant relationships, bashful semes, & spirited romantic ukes, but not to the point of using those kinds of characters exclusively.

Her art is very beautiful & her style can be mistaken for no other. Her stories are also usually very memorable.

I noticed "meganekko" in categories. I have to point out that Meganekko strictly refers to women; please use Meganedanshi for male characters.
