I've only read the oneshot by Minami Kanan in this one, JunAi Koza Kemono Suyou, but it certainly lived up to the beast portion in the title. I'll be upfront, I first read the story five years ago, and yes the smut is ridonkulously racy and makes you tingle and all the flurry that comes with it... but the situations depicted and the resolution shown within the story... convoluted would be putting it lightly.

The story tried to incorporate cute first love tropes like first kisses and purity of heart and all that alongside some seriously rushed physical intimacy which ends up feeling like a gaint hot mess.

Forget morality, the story is a major hypocritical statement in itself. If you're familiar with Minami Kanan's works, you know she likes to employ the brutish bishie stereotype a lot, along with her no-means-yes-please-do-it-now heroines. Both are present and accounted for in this one. Read it for the smut and (very) dated and somewhat unappealing art, but be prepared to want to ram your head into a wall at the depiction of "romance" in it after!
