It's said that one of the reasons why a rose is so beautiful is that it lasts only for a short period of time. Kumabachi no Koto is exactly like that, just ten times better. Nothing these comments say can completely summarize the exact emotions conjured up by this manga.

Never read YKK, but probably will after reading this and PositioN. Meepers369 had it dead-on. It was short, and wasn't really about anything at all, but I got that feeling I have on certain summer evenings, when the sun is about to set, the temperature mild and the breezes inspiring. When everything just seems so beautiful and you cherish every moment of doing nothing. I still have that feeling from this, and that's why it's getting a ten, a number I rarely hand out.

A short oneshot that's like an everyday fairy tale. Evokes an amazing feeling of peace and wonder...Ashinano has some serious storytelling skills. I dont know how he makes such a short piece so meaningful. This might be boring for some, but I loved it.
