This one I have reread many times. It is one of my favorites. Here's why:

No one was ever able to satisfy the fussy professor. Until the kid came along. Nobody ever took the time to make sure that the professor was taking care of himself except for the kid and his dad, the kid moreso than the dad. The professor had faith in the kid and knew that he had given him a reason to better himself. And no one could make a better cup of coffee so perfectly. All these things start adding up, and when he kissed the kid, it was because he knew that he was genuinely in love and his love was reciprocated. He wanted someone who loves him for himself and not what they thought they could get from his connections and money. The kid wanted none of that. He just wanted love that his fussy professor could only give.

It was a simple story that was executed really well. I agree with the previous reviewer that theres nothing special about the story. It's about an average joe university student struggling to find a career who ends up falling in love with his boss. Yuki's father was really funny so I really enjoyed his appearances in the manga. I think the charm in this manga was how well the author was able to write the dialogue and pace the story. So it does feel like their potential was wasted on such a simple story. It kind of gave me the same vanilla vibe as pretty much all shoujo manga were before I stopped reading that genre altogether.. Story aside, I definitely didn't like the art, but I'm sure their drawing style has improved since drawing this manga years ago.

An okay read for the most part, but not exactly very memorable or special either. I don't know if it's because the story is too simple or the characters rather underdeveloped, but for whatever reason I just didn't feel a lot of emotional connection with this manga at all. It just flashed by like a matter of course without truly 'gripping' me. I think the author was playing it a bit too safe this time.
