I read a lot of manga simultaneously but THIS is the one manga which I really look forward to the latest chapter being scanlated. Even though it's a teacher-student story, it doesn't really feel that way. Maybe because in your head it's justified since they're "married" so they're really not much of the thrill of forbidden love but I really like it this way. Their love is just so natural, it's not really slice-of-life genre but I feel like it can get there at times. It's really fluffy yet humorous at the same time.
SIIIGH...

Well, I started to read this when it first came out, and now after what... 5 years? I am just too old for this.. no progress...I don't even care how it's gonna end... and usually I at least care about that, no matter how I don't like the manga...
I guess it's good for ppl who like cliche shoujo stories...

After a couple of chapters I dropped this, it wasn't particulary to my taste. I'm not saying people should avoid this or stay away I just think it will please some people and do the opposite to others.
The plot sounded promising but when I started to read I kind of felt disapointed because I expected more. I didn't expect Fumino to be that in love and I thought it would be better for her throughtout the series to develop her feelings for him so it kind of go deep, but that's just my opinion. The male lead was likable but kind of annoying, like Fumino, he was your typical teacher but when he took off his glasses a bishie, for me that was annoying. Teppei was cute and adorable, you would want a brother like him. I don't like cliches and I found the plot was full of them.
The art was one of the reasons I picked this up, it was stunning and your eyes would not bleed everytime you read.
Overall it was okay but not interesting enough to keep me going. You may like it or may not.

This manga's really boring, cliche. There's nothing interesting going on, just exactly as the summary says and the girl trying to get the guy to like her. Too slow paced, the art is plain. BORING.

It's an excellent manga to read. Of course it has it's ups and downs but nonetheless, the main thing that I like about this is how the story goes, you can relate to it at some point. If you are looking for a steady romance with no mix of mind break, this would be the story for you. I really enjoy following this series because it's as relaxing as it could be.

... and I was proven right after reading majority of the chapters. I just wasted x amount of hours of my life going through repetitive themes, Fumino's stupid cosplays, and almost as equally annoying Teppei-- only to find out that they STILL haven't done anything by chapter forty-something. I think this is the first student-teacher relationship manga that I've tried out and I just wanted to see the ending (or some progress, really). However, I am not about to become a masochist and proceed with this manga, unless Shouma decides to finally give Fumino her well-deserved punch in the face.

very good manga, if you like the slowpacing of the story. I think, that the slow pace everyone is complaining about it what makes it good really. Although it is the cliche of a student-teacher relationship, but it is really on a another level, not your tipical-fantasy-gettin it with a teacher. Their relationship is slowly developing, with a few heart-racing moments, in a just right time when you think it's getting boring. and the characters, especially the character of the teacher is very well developed. And also, the kid that appears in the manga, Teppei is so veeery cute, I adore him, but I am after all a sucker for cuteness .

Student teacher relationship, the "flat girl", an ex delinquent, older male and younger female, a possesive lover and adorable kids all wraped into one! If it was pulled off in any other style I would hate it but this one is so addictive!!!

Most likely if a man actually treated his wife this way he'd destroy her confidence in herself as a woman. Either that, or she'd leave him before he could do that. There is apparently some strange attraction for some readers in being strung along endlessly waiting for nature to take its inevitable course, but stories have to bear some relationship to the reality of human nature or they're just manipulations by the author. This story couldn't happen in reality except perhaps between two people who were both totally sex-averse due to some kind of mistreatment in childhood. So it's just an empty exercise in stringing readers along through as many episodes as possible, nothing more.
This reminds me of the endless "Ichigo 100%", but the difference is that there the failure of the teen hero to proceed could be justified as being due to the fact that if he acted to commit himself to any one of the girls he'd lose all the others, and he was just too immature to make a choice under those conditions. Plus there was a great deal of non-love personal development going on in all the the teen main characters, which was interesting in itself, and the art was terrific. No such factors exist here.

I really love this manga, it is one of my favs! ^.^ the fact that they haven't kissed yet is making me more excited for the day they finally do kiss. And the title "faster than a kiss" is really what happens in the manga, every time it looks like they are about to kiss something happens lol I also can't wait till she is out of school, I personally think that the story will be more exciting XD
