Description
In this story, we're treated to a twisted, gothic-horror remix of the classic Cinderella story (as re-imagined by a shounen author for a shoujo audience), where we find, in the end, that nothing comes free, and if it sounds too good to be true, well, there's usually a catch. You've never seen Cinderella like this!

quite surprising

I am most astounded with the artwork, especially the last few panels. The artwork reminds me of "Sugar Sugar Rune" and I think it's quite pretty.

The plot twist is pretty cool. I mean, I've read a couple (not much) fairy-tale twist (reference to the real Grimm's-based manga, the more sadistic, gothic, gore version), but the twist of this particular manga is pretty refreshing even for the twisted fairytales.

What makes me surprised the most is the author, surely. I would have never expected that this is created by Masashi Kishimoto's brother. I mean, I assumed that his style of work would resemble Naruto, but this manga's style is completely different.

Hahaha, I can't help but love weird manga like this the best, I wasn't expecting that ending! But it was awesome. I loved the kooky art too. This manga is supposed to be silly and a gaggy and I love it.

But it was a pretty good story. A nice quick read and I found it funny above all else. The pacing was great and kept me interested. Cinderella herself was nothing like the Disney image and the prince was quite attractive which made the ending even better. I say its good if you have a few minutes to kill.

The art is definitely shounen in nature (I love the thicker and sharper lines without all the extra "sparkly and excessive detail" that often comes with shoujo art. And I love Cinderella in this story. She's actually believable and a tad evil smile

I read this because pinboo mentioned that the brother of Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, drew this. It's pretty clear how the sypnosis highlights this oneshot as one that aims to surprise. Refreshing twists, art and characters. If you read this with no expectations, it might be be a fun turn of events.

i was kindda looking for horror along the way and i gotta say that i thought that it was the gothicness but the twist at the end just took me by surprise i thought that it already ended but no. i have to reread the final chapters again to digest what just happened. i love it!~! i also like that cinderella isnt the lovable sweet type xD thats why i love modern fairytales.. they tend to not go for goodyb two shoes heroines.

An obvious and intentional adaptation to Disney's Cinderella, with a bit of a twist. I think every author has their inspirations from Disney and it's clear that readers love Disney as well. There's no crime in turning one of your cherished child-hood love stories into a creepy, comedic sadistic tale, as long as it's tasteful.

He probably had fun writing it, although I'm patiently waiting for more of his originals. Something without the "dry" humor.

The main character, cinderella, wasnt very modest. And there are many things along in the plot that were sort of silly. Like why did the witch pick cinderella to transform if anyone at the ball would've sufficed to be of service the prince or whatever(trying not to spoil it), and why didnt the shoe fit? Why did they have to go out and find cinderella? There wasnt anything particular about her. They only danced and barely spoke to eachother other than the initial offer request to dance. Idk maybe m the only one who doesnt like this cause i heard good things, especially about the unexpected ending but it wasnt a good kind of surprise. It was like more of a wtf was that, uneccessary kind of surprise. Get me? Yeah. You do. Okay yeah this is too long now... >~> so um period.
