How is this creepy and gross?
this isnt some shoujo manga...
I really liked this.
the main characters were pretty realistic, personality wise, and it was interesting.
Its hard to find yaoi with manly guys, they're always so girly or super sensitive. which isnt bad, but it gets old pretty fast. the second story was interesting. it was funny and sad but i liked the ending.

First of all, it's true it's not the classic yaoi, and if you're searching for fluffy and heartwarming stories, you won't find that here. But if you like realistic stories with some sad or hard subjects, and a sharp eye on human relations, so you definitely should check this one.
It's rather realistic, and the author doesn't hesitate to talk about harsh things like alcoholism, or domestic violence, and to put her characters in situations that doesn't make them show their best side.
The art either isn't what you come across that often, not bad with a simple and clean style, manly guys, and not so many sexy details or attitudes but well drawn expressions. Even if I enjoy sexy scenes, in this author's case I think her style fits perfectly her stories. Both in her art and stories she focuses more on the characters, their feelings, how they can struggle with themselves and can sometimes overcome their difficulties. Thus the sexy stuff isn't that needed or missing.
What I liked the most in this collection was how she managed to depict the characters in a way they really feel human, with their strengths and their weaknesses. Usually I don't find oneshots that interesting since it's so short, but here, the whole collection is really smooth, and I would say the stories complement each others somehow. And I felt sympathy for the characters from the beginning of each story, and I entered the world of each story easily which made me forget it was oneshots.
So I definitely recommend this !

Man some of these are heartwrenching. I like that the stories are more realistic though because despite this still being a manga this doesn't live in a fantasy world like most and it probes the darker sides of reality.
Old guy/old guy + dark themes + office workers = 10/10 from me.

I like some of these stories but a few of them on the other hand are just plain uncomfortable to read, at least until before the explanation was given at the end. Stories 5 and 6 are especially guilty of this. Overall I wish I enjoyed this collection more than I did; oh well, thankfully the chibis are still cute and funny at least.

Loved that it had some disturbing themes!
I totally didn't expect that and it was great to read something with people being manipulated and controlled like that, a real change from the usual yaoi!
I like sensei's style of combining comedy with serious topics; while I'm not a fan of ojisan yaoi, I enjoyed the stories here anyway!

Truthfully, this manga had way too many old men (hilariously lampshaded by the author at the end XD) but I actually liked it. You see, old men in Yaoi are far from being my personal preference. But I read the first two chapters and was somewhat pleased with its cute characters and storyline. The characters were unusually deep and real (for a Yaoi, that is ).
The third chapter "Dirt" surprised me with its ending as I thought it was gonna go in a completely different direction, but I like being surprised, so...
Chapter 4 didn't stand out much, but the REAL shock came from chapter 5, "wholehearted". It was disturbing and weird. It made me feel a lot of things. No, it wasn't perfect, but it was something new to me.
Chapter 6, "Take me with you" was heartbreaking but it ended well for the characters.
Finally, "Memorial Day" was sweet and funny and somewhat short.
So I liked this manga! Yaoi fans with a fetish for old men will have a field day with this one. 8/10 for the unusual character depth.

I mean, the physical abuse the guard went through from his stressed out lover, and that freaking clown (who I suspect is the same person as the guard) somewhat freaked me out (first one for obvious reasons... who wouldn't be disturbed by abuse? and second one because I hate clowns :P)
Chapter 6, "Take me with you" was heartbreaking but it ended well for the characters.
