This story was a beautiful read.
Still, what is best is Naoki's story. It breaks my heart every time. I really do love Naoki to bits.
And as always the art is well drawn.

Not my favorite, but definitely good.

First of all, the art is NOT horrifying - I really like the sketchy-ish style. I just like Yamada Yugi's art in general, though.
The stories were good, though not my favorites of the author's works. They were a little too sad for me. And in the main story, if someone threatened my kid like that, I wouldn't slap him and forget it, I'd rain hell down on him until there was nothing left. That's what really threw me off the first story.
The second one turned out well, and the ending was really cute (I love Ayu's mom's reaction to him telling her about Naoki). It was a little sad, though.

i'm giving this a 10 because I like sensei's art, realistic -on a certain degree- plot, romantic and original stories, sense of humor, the agonizing moments that makes you fear that the main couple won't get together in the end, pretty much everything. in both stories the theme is kind of dark, in the first one there was a gay couple in which one guy was married with child and the other one was the wife's uncle and in the second story the uke was raped by a classmate for some years but even though these things are too much to take for the average yaoi reader (*cough, cough* talking about myself *cough, cough*), yamada-sensei did her best to tone them down a lot and leave the reader with a sweet taste in the end. and knowing how much japanese people hate happy endings, I'm really glad sensei didn't choose to leave us with bitter memories from this book (*cough* like Shisei no Otoko for example *cough*)

I seriously just commented yesterday on Chiisana and complained about wanting to know more about Naoki. Now I'm glad to see that his relationship was that of mutual love and not just a crutch. And his man is just too cute! I don't think I want to read about Yada's point of view because... well, I harbor too much hate for him to even enjoy that. But knowing Yamada sensei, she will end up winning me over somehow... Ah, it's a very pushy relationship I have with her work, and I always give in, ahaha.
The main story was alright, and I like the bit of actually allowing a character to go away and come back when he was ready to be fully committed to his relationship. But I still enjoyed Naoki's bit more than anything. Ah, my love for him is just too big, really.

i love the art, it bring more....oomph to the story. how do i say it? if its the usual generic art like others it wont be as good. it somehow convey a certain...sadness, transient feeling. hmm, idk how to convey my feeling, only this series is good!

As usual, I love her work. Her work is laugh-out-loud funny every time I've read it. Her art is different, so I can see why people might not like it, but as I've said in another comment, it suits her comedic style. xD I loved Naoki and Ayu's story. I'm going to have to go and read "Chiisana Garasu no Sora" and "Taiyou no Shita de Warae" now. xD

It is very different from usual yaoi art but that's the beauty of it. Like even if her books came in a blank cover without her name, if I just look at the art, I KNOW that its her work.
Her stories are always so cute and different too. The characters actually have personalities that differ from usual yaoi characters. The plots are always consistent and can make you cry.
I really like the continuation of Nao's and Ayu's story very much :3

Yugi Yamada's style is quite different from typical Yaoi, but I like it. There's no question that she draws well and she's very skilled. Her characters tend to be extroverted and get scary faces a lot, though. But it's more storytelling/personality than badness of art.
The Spring Fever story was a nice read and was self-contained, although not too deep or emotionally moving.
The "coming out" part of Wildman Blues was sweet. I didn't realize that Naoki and Yada were characters from other manga when I read this book.
The book came with a thick cover and was printed on thick paper. It didn't feel cheap like some other publisher's works.

As always, it was another good manga by YAMADA Yugi. My favorite was the continuation of Naoki's story from Chiisana Garasu no Sora (which you should read first). However, it was a bit lacking. I felt that she should have made at least a chapter with Yada's point of view because I really want to understand what went through his head. This isn't one of her greatest works, but nonetheless it is still worth reading.
p.s. I don't see how her art is bad. I would say she has a unique style different from others and not in a bad way. I don't like reading manga with bad art too, but this is definitly not the worst that would make you stray away from reading it. Even if it makes you stray just a bit, you'll grow to like it as you continue reading.

I thought the art was rather cute! Although I suppose it's not for those who want all their men to look like underaged girls. I guess it depends on what kind of art you like.
