Ando's backstory hit a nerve. Sure, Takanashi or the bully liked Miura or whatever, but Miura 'saving' Ando from Takanashi and his comments show that he disliked (if not hated) and was afraid of Takanashi, so Ando being upset at himself for sticking his nose where it didn't belong is only taking the perspective of the bully and not the classmate who wanted the bully to leave him alone.

That is to say -- Sho should've told Ando that he did the right thing. That Takanashi's reasons for bullying didn't justify anything. Instead, he acts like Ando should forgive himself for messing up. Absolutely ridiculous.

Add into that an absolutely shallow story for Sho and Ando themselves, and you've got a story that basically just justifies the worst parts of BL without having them for the main couple.
