Description

The avoided, prohibited forest... With the dismal atmosphere and the rumors that whisper about the spirits, let it to be called Spirit Mountain.

This was surprisingly such a great read. I'm currently on chapter 75 but the drawings/characters/plot has been a solid 10. So far I enjoy everything. No complaints! How rare of me haha. I really like the character development! Like the poster below me, this really reminded me of Inuyasha (maybe it's because of his hot headed attitude haha) and Kamisama Hajimeshita.
When I first saw it, I brushed pasted it but I gave it another shot because I had nothing to read and I'm so happy I did. Everyone, please give this manhwa a try! You'll find it funny, suspenseful and so so adorable!
Update: So happy that I've decided to re-read it. The drawing is phenomenal and the gag scenes never fail to make me laugh. What I've noticed a lot in many mangas is that they tend to fail in the dialogue department. The creator is able to keep you engaged with the flow of the dialogue, and it's so easy to read and follow along. Bravo!

Story/Plot
Are you looking for something along the lines of Inuyasha or Kamisama Hajimeshita? Then you are at the right place. While it is purely action and not adventure it features a fox spirit and a priestess as main characters. The story line is very transparent (at least for now) and quite fast-paced. That means you will know where this is going (probably) after only a few chapters.
Characters/Cast
Even after 33 chapters I have difficulties giving a balanced opinion here... Some are quite well developed (like the fox spirit), because it is obvious what's moving them and it is relateable. I'll feel free to add more info once I get to know the characters better. The dynamics of the cast is quite funny and adorable at times (I know I enjoyed it).
Art/Drawings
Pretty good for a free webtoon. Solid drawings in full color. Style: Looks a bit like copymarkers (the quality ones).
Overall
I enjoy it a lot. There are quite a few funny moments, decent action and mysterious characters. Recommended for anyone who likes deities, spirits and romance along the lines of Kamisama Hajimeshita or Inu Yasha.
