Ok lemme explain this in an understandable manner. For me, there are 2 types of yaoi manga. a) (overly, for some) intense manga with plot twists and (lots of) complications and b) ones that aren't heavy
This manga is obviously in the latter, but this is not the type that gives you a satisfying feeling. Most of the calm mangas I've read were veryyy satisfying. But this was idk, something was lacking, I guess?
Honestly, sensei's art is a 10/10. And her art deserves a far more better stories than her usual mangas. I wasn't aware that my fave mangas were written by sensei, and it made me realize the her plots were so-so. But bc of the art, I tend to overlook the plot, which was a disappointment for myself. She has the potential to draw manga, but she definitely needs to improve the plot and the dialogues of the characters of the manga. I mean, they're good but also quite confusing.

I'm usually easy to please and I'm perfectly aware of it hahaha But I seem to have a problem with this mangaka. Is it just me?
I love some of Katou-sensei's works but others are just... unsatisfactory. Don't know why, really, because the plots are good and the art is awesome. But something seems kinda off and in the end, when I finished the manga, I feel like something is missing.
Maybe is that Katou-sensei lacks at conveying the emotions? But not always happens and that confuses me.
In this manga's case, I think Aoi's and Sagara's relationship was not enough develped. It's too much focused on Aoi's feelings of abandonment, and most of the time this doesn't contribute too much in the story. Even if the main characters have his story since long ago, it feels like everything was done before the manga started and we missed their love. Don't know if it's exactly rushed but more like it's poorly conveyed and developed.

It lightens up the situation between the brothers - main characters in this series - and there's the cause for Aoi's rotten personality. The story is rough, especially compared to the prequel. It has good points for sure, like art, unusual storytelling, turning point or quite unique characters but sadly the storyline is messy, a bit confusing, characters are underdeveloped and it's lacking of action. Almost the whole story takes place at Sagara's home or office, like there's no outer world. Aoi is alienated to the point where it's not believable, same goes for his whole existence. How should I put this? he's almost 30 but his self-awareness is at point 0, he's got no job (never had a job), no income, no friends, no education/qualifications (just high school), no home, no ties with a family, it seems that all he has is his cocky annoying attitude, half-assed lover and a bunch of clothes so I'm asking how is this possible? huh? Even if it's just a manga the author could've put more effort to create this character.
You can kill some time with this yaoi, but don't expect too much.

Umm, how should I put this...?

Confusion from beginning to end. The artwork was nice, though, and even the older seme was nicely attractive in the older salaryman archetype rather than over-the-top too-young-looking type that proliferates yaoi manga.
Better than the prequel but...

Again I couldn't help but think this series too lacks depth. It has more of it than in the prequel, but really no big difference. The art is clean and like the prequel, the setting for the story was good. But it was again rushed and the development of the relationship happened suddenly.
I wouldn't recommend these...

i think even more than the prequel. But of course, there was a part throughout the story that i didn't like. I'm not talking about how everything turned out , but a part of the process seemed rushed or dumb or idk, maybe i was expecting something different so that's why (besides some unexplained little things).
But the clear reason why i loved it was the age difference, a seme of that age and an uke like Aoi, are just one of my favorites things to find in yaoi.
Sagara really is the one i liked the most. Even if his words and behavior were sometimes kind of mean(he did it as a reaction for how Aoi was), he is one of the types of seme i like the MOST. And Aoi too(for uke). The art was very nice and the story was short and somewhat simple but i loved the couple xD
