I love Junko’s works. But this one put a bad taste in my mouth.

Everything about the main couple’s relationship is just… manipulative and weird. Akira is repeatedly forced and guilt tripped into reciprocating Chihiro’s affections and staying by his side. The entire story screams of unhealthy (nonconsensual) codependency and though Akira has his faults, he was the only person in this goddamn manga that had any sense.

Chihiro’s relationships should not extend to JUST Akira. Akira was right in saying Chihiro needs more friends. Chihiro’s world should not revolve around Akira and the fact that everyone else in the manga thinks that it’s fine for him to act like that… just gross.

I didn't like the story whatsoever. The concept around how they met was pretty cool but the characters were so ughhh. The main was alright he and the second lead were okay but the bodyguard with the hair covering his eyes was a no go. He kept on pushing the "love interest" on to him saying "the moment you replied to him he was your responsibility" wtf ? Just because someone likes you does not mean you have to accept them especially if your not sure which probably means it's not meant to be. I say the second lead is okay because his character is so underdeveloped he doesn't stand out besides being the pretty boy. The best character is my opinion I think is the main lead he questions the bodyguard (thank god) and still doesn't think he should be around since he doesn't feel the same way but then the bodyguard fuks it up but guilting him once more. Idk I just didn't like manga all that much.
Hard pass on my part.

I felt it was too rushed. I think this is the weakest manga she had ever written... Would have been better if it were lpnger, but it ended fast with a lot of things too underdeveloped, which is such a shame since there was a lot of room to write something cute and emotional out of it.

A 120% biased rating. I am sorry, but when it comes to Junko's work I simply throw everything out of my mind and rate it a pre-determined ten (this does not mean that her other works do not deserve a ten, I make sure to mention that I am going overboard when I do).
Honestly, I wouldn't give this anything higher than a 8 or 8.5 because of the hiccups in the narrative and the all too convenient love story and its resolution but there are times when you have to go with the feels, and this is most definitely one of those times.

I wish it was longer! The story squeezed so much in that 6 chapters i really wanna read their relationship as it progress . The art is good too , i'm thinking if the author is also the one who made kunbini-kun and mankai darling both also a very good story. Sequel please!

I love the long hair bodyguard! It looked like there was something up with him and the oldest brother. And then there was something going on with the youngest brother and the black hair bodyguard XD anyhow this manga was cute and funny and I already knew Chihiro was seme haha I like uke-like seme cause they're unpredictable.

The story started out great but I felt that it was ended too quickly. A lot of details were delivered vaguely and seemed too farfetched. This could have been better if it was longer, I'm guessing. The bodyguards and the younger brother could have had their own story. The art was superb as always though but this manga doesn't compare to Junko's other works like Kimi Note, Konbini-kun, or Kasa no Shita, Futari.

As usual, Junko's art is adorable, and her story is equally funny and cute. This manga is obviously not realistic, but it's really good nonetheless. I like how Akira is, although a bit lazy, an awesome bada$$ fighter, haha. I also sort of liked the There are just a lot of little details I really love about this manga. It has a bunch of great moments, funny and sweet, that make it worth reading. Recommended!

This was a cute manga, it wasn't entirely plausible, and Chihiro was a little too in love for it to be realistic, but Akira was adorable and a great narrator. The plot was cute, and didn't feel too contrived, and the art, as always, was to die for. This is not a deep or impactful manga, but for a 20 minute story with a couple of cute moments it was worth it
