Confusing but beautiful

Download this one for the art but expect it not to make an ounce of sense. It's a dream-like work, not meant to be taken literally, so if you can appreaciate it for its artwork (which is really quite something--it's unfortunate the illustrator doesn't seem to work professionally), then you might enjoy this one.

The doujinshi contains two stories. The first one has no dialogue whatsoever, which makes discerning the events taking place very difficult. There is narration in the second story, but the narration is meant to be poetical in nature and not necessarily to convey information about the plot or characters, again leaving the reader in confusion. The translator includes some notes on the doujinshi where s/he offers up some interpretations on what may be going on. The translator's ideas are plausible enough, so I do suggest you read the note as it may help to clarify things for you. As for me, I think the doujinshi has something to do with the idea of creation and destruction since we see the tower growing uncontrollably in the first story, the two couples having sex in the second story, the repetition of the lotus flowers (which usually symbolize life and spiritual awakening), then the bonus image of the many-armed god, and finally the destruction of the tower. (Although it's unclear whether the tower of the first and second stories are meant to be the same tower). Beyond that, I can't come up with anything else as to the overall meaning of the work. While I don't think a doujinshi should force you to think so much while still leaving you in confusion, the whole thing is beautiful and something different, so do give it a try.
