After all, how hard can it be for them to play each other?

Promising Start, boring after first book

I've actually completed the whole series (mostly because I felt I had to). The first volume (first couple of chapters) is a really fun gender-bender twins swapping places comedy. However, after the first volume they abandoned the swapping places premise completely and it became a rather boring standard shoujo story. I preferred the twin brother's romance because I liked his personality and I liked Asuza as well. Those two were the definite best characters. Mego was a huge yawn and so was her love interest. Also just noting, the first 13 volumes or so are REALLY innocent to the point where characters barely kiss, then towards the end of the series they unexpectedly have sex out of nowhere.

Super cute and i loved every page of this i was smiling every chapter it was adorable but if it is complete it felt very sudden and left a lot of unaddressed questions and story lines like really big ones. The writing is so cute that even though it feels like it's half finished it still left me feeling good about the manga. Also this was labeled as smut and isn't. I think id give this a 10 normally but i have to give it a 7 for all the unaddressed plot lines.

Mitsuru is selfish. This kid needs to get a reality check.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Azusa's parents and Aoi's mother are also selfish people. They only think about themselves and not the people around them. Why make kids when you don't even know how to get your life together? Causing so many innocent people to be dragged into your mess.

At first I despised Azusa because of her actions and bullying, but her character grew on me as the story progressed. I felt her sadness and could relate to her problems with her parents. I think she and Aoi were the only ones with character growth. The others lacked it and were too 1D.

Mego, she was an okay female lead. Not too much of a pushover like the other female leads in the author's other manga's I've read from her. But I felt that the author likes to make all her female leads the same. Weak, cries alot, and has every man falling for her. Too much white lotus/Mary Sue vibes here, so she felt like another copy and paste character from her other mangas. Too much naivety in her personality. But I liked Azusa as the 2nd female lead. Different from her other type of female leads. She's strong (emotionally and physically), not one to easily cry over stupid reasons, she stops a love triangle before it even forms (this is what Mego should do too, but she was too busy being a crybaby and fawning over her reverse harem), a black sheep, and has flaws. I think that is what makes her different and like-able than Mego and all the other female leads in the author's other mangas.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Through out the manga, I wished with all my heart for the author to pair her with a better man than Mitsuru. She deserves better. She became a rebound and I hated that. Mitsuru rubs me the wrong way. I'm annoyed with this guy.

After reading the last review for this manga actually decided to put that opinion in as I bought the first volume from a sale from rightstuf. However after reading the first time I got to say I actually really enjoy what I read from it it's nothing groundbreaking it's nothing amazing but it doesn't have to be. Not everything has to take your heart away from it. So after that I decided to read the rest of it and I actually really enjoy what I read so far from what was published online. I really enjoy the girls story then her twin brother story a lot more and I'm glad we see more of her often in the story. I didn't know there was actually an OVA of this which is not written in the in the information above butt I can't wait to give it a shot and I'm glad there is one. And just like the title says the story is cute and it from what I read it encouraged me to buy the rest of them and I can't wait to have them in my collection very soon period so I do actually say get this a shot if you're looking just for something to read. If you're looking for something that was realistic or something that will change your heart forever then I do not recommend the store for you because this is not one of those cases. But it's your typical crossdressing and your typical Shoujo anime but that doesn't mean that it's a bad thing.

Volume 1 had me impressed because I'm interested in Japanese sign language. Unfortunately in volume 2 things quickly went into questionable territory and it looks like it's only going to escalate from here, so I think I'd better jump ship. I make it a point not to read smut, and I see the warning signs… Such a pity, this series had a great set up with some colorful characters - it really didn't need to get pervy.

So sweet! I actually surprisingly really like this story. The pacing is not ridiculously fast and it's a cute gender bender. I actually found myself squealing at the end of the last couple chapters! Kyaaa >u< it's really cute and I would give this manga a shot if you liked the chihiro parts of Suzuki kun desu or whatever it's called... It's a similar art style, it may even be the same artist-I didn't do my research. Anyways cute shoujo with multiple protagonists all of whom I actually liked. Recommended if you're looking for innocent love and fluffiness!
