I really disliked this series and had trouble finishing it. The drawing and art were not my style (and IMO not appropriate or suitable for this type of action/fantasy series), the portrayal of events (through the art) was extremely poor and confusing, the explanations sucked... I just had a very bad experience reading this, which is quite rare for me. I appreciated the depth of the story and plot though, which was definitely intricate and complicated (but again, just done poorly). It had potential with a good storyline, but alas, it was severely lacking in other areas.

The epilogue was really good -- I was going to rate this a 4 but that ending saved it. I totally didn't see it coming. If anything, you can look forward to that. Everything leading up to it sucked though. I think I only really enjoyed the first 10 chapters or so, then it quickly went downhill from there.

Ah, I forgot to add. Another reason I seriously hated this series is because of the adults. Smh they were the reason and cause for the whole mess. Jesus Christ. Sure they may have had good intentions, but... Ugh. Just lmao at how poorly done the characters were too.

One of the first manhwa I’ve read that are finished.

it is certainly one of the best, the plot and the story is neat. Is not too complicated nor it is simple. It’s just neat.

But I do think this needs to have the tragedy tag tho,

it has been years and the only not regrettable scene is the ending, it was the most memorable ending I’ve ever read in all history of manhwas i’ve read. Definitely recommend. And please ignore the reviews, it’s good if you read it till the end. But it’ll be confusing if you read it only till the middle.

The reason of the bad reviews, I think it’s because this is the kind of manhwa that is better if it’s read in one go.

Yeah it is drop-able but somehow i managed to read whole story in one go without drop in just 4 days... (Very good beginning, terrible in season 2(maybe plot twist and turns&character's blah blah history), good ending as most reader wanted)
You can give a chance to read to kill time (If you like good ending -simple- otherwise just drop it if you think the ending not your taste)

The first time I read it, it had tons of plot and I really loved how he didn't know that he was important. Then I dropped it, never moving from season one. I tried reading it again starting from the beginning and I thought it was just ok compared to when I first read it. Moving on to season 2 was so hard, it felt like all was lost and the potential was gone. It was like all plot ended in season one.

It's still in my favorites because I love the animal art and season one was nice but I'm probably not picking it up again.

I agree, it's not the best thing I've ever read. But many people are saying that the prologue was very misleading. If you drop it, at least read the last 10 chapters and you'll know what I mean. It's not that bad. I think the ending was fitting.

I have dropped this webtoon and picked it up so many times.. The art is blah, except the animals, I LOVE the tiger and other animals and the "backgrounds" at certain points, but the people and general art, not for me. But because the art of those animals was so up my ally, I felt this odd compulsion to complete it.

I feel like it started out well, and I liked the ending (honestly, it fit the story just fine). But damn, the middle.. No joke, from around chapter 20 to basically chapter 102 suck. Side characters are given backstories for no real reason (aka it doesn't advance the main plot, nor does it help the sub plots), and plots are never really completed which gives you this constant want for closure that is never allowed. Stories arcs has a natural arc (duh!) and I don't feel any of those arcs in this webtoon. It's like you are constantly on the rise and never get to go down (aka closure) which leaves this bitter feeling. It's hard to explain, but the webtoon just never feels fun or good to read. I've read some extremely depressing manga, but even those are interesting to read (which makes them "fun"), but this one... It's lacking in so many areas.

The unbelievable amount of social injustice and oppression is extreme. It's forced and it's constant and it's shoved down your throat as you read. And it's not believable. I've read other mangas where there is oppression and social injustice and the want for revenge and it's handed beautifully and believably, but in this one... Nope! It's not natural and it reads really poorly. It's so extreme and there is no grey zone, there is only black or white. And the only character that sees grey is the main one, and even then it doesn't feel real or natural.

Even when others views "change" they aren't given any story arc that would have changed them... They don't have an arc, they sort of just are. None of the characters feel true, either to the story or themselves. You never actually feel connected to any character or understand their wants and desires.. It's just really poorly told, which sucks, because it had a lot of promise.

I will not be recommending this webtoon to anyone. I'm sorry, it just didn't do anything for me. There is too much wrong in this webtoon to override the good.

Yet another manhwa about kids with ridiculous powers that live in an equally ridiculously oppressed society which seams to have been thought by a mid schooler and is thus as solid as a bubble in a storm. Add to that terrible main characters, an inconsistent cast of secondary characters and disconnected dialogues and you get Flow, a copy paste of 20 other similar korean manhwas, they just change the setting and the manhwaka.
Don't waste your time, tried to keep reading since someone said it gets better but 30ch in and it gets worse and worse. Dropped.

The story starts out very generic:
You get the typcial lead character, the elite best friend and the childhood friend that the MC has an unrequited love for. The MC finds out he has a hidden power and must start at the bottom of the ladder to get stronger by constantly encountering individuals who are stronger than him.

Then the author really ups his game and starts to weave some complex plots and emotional character paths.
The problem is you can predict how the series will end a couple of chapters before it finishes.
The ending itself feels unsatisfying makes this series feel like a waste of time to me.

This manga is essentially someone who wanted to change everything for himself, then working to reverse everything that he is done

it is a well executed piece that yes the beginning seems strange, but it becomes apparent with the author as to why he really only seriously develops 2 characters, spoiler as to why below

Disappointment. This series had so much potential, I loved the beginning of it (upto the first 30 chapters), then everything went down hill. I don't mind deaths in a series, my opinion is the same for this. But there were too many unnecessary deaths. And at the end of the series all the deaths are pointless. Literally pointless. Art wise its's great. ROMANCE wise; It had so much potential and I would have loved it if the ending/story was better. But no, the author ruined it. The ending of Flow is worse than the ending for Akame Ga Kill's anime. If you don't want to be disappointed and feel like you wasted time, dont't read it. However if you want to be disappointed, this is the series for you.

Its a waste of time. Don't read it. I don't know why they started translating it again. There are much better series with far less disappointment,
